This chain I wear around my neck
The chain that weighs me down
Brings nothing but a smile to my face
But for you it makes you frown
I'm sorry I wear it
I really am
But it makes me smile when you can't
The chain I wear that makes you frown
The chain that turns you upside down
Is the same chain
That saved me when I could have drowned
You could have saved me but you didn't
So I wear the chain as if it were a crown
