The water cradles my feet
In a rush attempt to calm me
It's calling me further in
It's voice soothing to the sound
"Maybe you should come too?"
I turn around and ask you
You smile at me and shake your head thoughtfully
"There's better places out there besides the unknown, but maybe just this once I'll listen."
To my surprise, you take the hand I extend out to you
And we walk
Slowly into the waves
Into the unknown
And you're okay with that
So we tell the world we're drowning and leave to explore the darkness
Together

It was a poem at first but turned into a mini story I guess.
Like really mini.
I'm really hungry right now
