I hate school

Mondays. The day everyone dreads. The day when you would rather be dead. The day that marks the beginning of a new week meaning torture. Yes, I am talking about the day where you have to drag yourself out of your comfy bed and make your way to that god forbidden school. Aren't Mondays just lovely?

"Aphrodite! You better be up! You can't miss anymore days of school!" My mom screams up to me as I groggily climb out of my bed, accidentally getting my self tangled up in the covers causing me to fall to the grown with a thud. A loud groan escapes my lips as I peel myself off the floor. This is just great! Now my face hurts.

A burning sensation hits the back of my throat causing me to run to the bathroom and gag up the food from last night. Why? Why me? What have I've ever done to anyone? I'm a sweet girl. I help out around the house. Never gave my mom a hard time. Why do I have to be the one pregnant instead couldn't of been someone who stays sleeping around? But noooo, its the girl least likely. Dont you just love life?

After pucking out my guts I brush my teeth and throw my hair into a sloppy bun letting to curly strands hang around my face. I throw on high waist jean shorts and a light pink crop top with matching light pink converse. I throw on some lip gloss before grabbing my bag and running down the stairs, making a new record. I was ready in ten minutes tops.

As I get closer to the kitchen I hear a light chuckle and my moms melodic laugh. Who would be here at six something in the morning? I scrunch my black brows together quizzically as I open up the kitchen door to see Jace standing there like he owns the place. I clear my throat causing my mother and Jace both to turn and look at me.

"Aphrodite! You look so pretty today. Look who came to come and get you for school today? Oh, plus I made blueberry muffins." My mom says ecstatically. My mom gas always had this dream that one day me and Jace would get married. She and his parents use to tease us about it. He would deny it and I would just blush.

"Oh, hey Jace. You didn't tell me you where coming today. Me and Nora usually ride together."

Jace sends me his all so famous smirk as he responds, "I wanted to surprise you. And dont worry about Nora, I already notified her and she was 100% okay with it."

"Umm, okay than?" I say as I grab a muffin and stuff it in my mouth before I make a stupid comment. My moms sure to question me later. Not just about today, but for yesterday as well.

Jace grabs a muffin and grabs my hand.

"Sorry I can't stay longer Ms. Lily, but I'll see you later. Bye." He says as he practically drags me out of the house and over to his black Ferrari.

"Jace, what are you doing here?"

"I've already told you."

"I dont believe that's the only reason."

"Look, I told you that I'm going to take care of you and that's what I'm doing so get in the car, sit back and relax would ya?"

With a huff I jump into the car, trying to hide the small smile that is making its way to my face. As soon as we get in the car have starts the engine making the radio come on, and its playing my favorite song.
