Searching for Hope

Shuichi's pov

I was honestly shocked that the mastermind was Tsumugi all along... of course she stayed down in the trial room...which was good i guess? We all decided to split up individually and search. We wall ran off in different directions. But suddenly i was stopped by Kaito.... i turned around and gave him a glare but... I didn't glare at him for long because of the look oh his face...its was pure utter sorrow..he looked at me dead in the eyes.and grabbed me by the shoulders

"Im sorry Shuichi i really am..." he said slightly crying

I stood there without a word in shock

"I swear I didn't kill him but i saw him die" he continued

I push him off of me "wait the do you know who killed him..." I said

He grabbed me again and whispered in my ear "he committed suicide... he told me to tell you hes sorry and that he will always love you..." he said

My eyes widened in shock of the situation I didn't know if I should believe it...but out of all things why would he do it? Then it hit me...

"He really did wanted to save us all... didn't he Kaito..." i said

Kaito nodded and looked at me sadly "I'm sorry i lied in there i was just wanting to help defeat Monokuma...and make Kokichi's sacrifice mean something" He said

"No its okay Kaito i forgive you..." i said "but right now we need to look.. who knows how much time she will give us..." I continued

"Right Shuichi i wont let you down" he said running away to his sector for investigation

I was stuck with the dormitory and labs.. i do remember that Kokichi had a lot of things in his room so i better check his room... i ran to his room and opened the door... there are a lot more things than I remember... i began looking around and there was some files in there that had something to deal with the school and some invention designs. But what really caught my eye was there was a letter on the desk.. in fact there was two.. one said 'open after the you escape' and the other 'Open now'. Did he know something we didn't? I opened the letter and it had some instructions  but they where clue instructions... i check it out once i get to his lab and research more.. but i think i got everything i needed for now. From here at least. I headed down to Kokichi's lab and opened the door... its a major mess of papers and things. The thing thats stood out the most was a big book on the side of Kokichi's throne. I pick it up and it was heavy... the cover said 'hopes peak academy' and I opened it to see a recorded history of the killing games before this one. What shocked me was the fact that there where games like this before... but they were ran by a ultimate student called Junko Enoshima.. The name sounded familiar and i tried to remember.. then it hit me.. Junko was the ultimate despair and shes dead... one of her remnants of despair are probably running it. That must mean Tsumugi is one of them.. but what was her purpose for getting involved other than creating a killing game? I doubt we will find out because that seems rather personal but i want to know at the same time. I collected the book and other important papers that looked useful and put them together. I looked back at the letter that was on Kokichi's desk and headed to the boiler outside and looked for what the paper said 'look at the wall and there will be something written in white' i looked at the wall and the writing in white said 'twins b'.... twins b? What does that mean? I don't really understand.. all of a sudden i heard a loud boom from outside and immediately went out side... Kiibo was up in the air and started destroying the school. But when did he get those lasers and the ability to fly?

"Kiibo stop! Your destroying the things we need to find the truth.." i yelled

He came down to me and just hovered

"Im sorry Shuichi but this must be done in order to save ourselves...Tsumugi is gonna try to try and make us lose... we cant risk the i know she is staying in the shrine of judgement for safety but ima bring it down right now" he said

"But what about everyone else they might get hurt!" I said

"Dont worry they will be fine" he said going back up and heading towards the shrine of judgement.

"Kiibo wait" i said but he didn't hear me

Something didn't feel right to me but i just felt uneasy was all and i tried to get through it but I couldn't stop thinking about the oppressing feeling i had. I look over at the direction of the shrine and Kiibo blew it up.

"So i guess this means no trial then huh?" Kaito said walking up from behind me

"Kaito, hey" I said smiling

I turned around and saw everyone behind me then Kiibo comes floating above them.

"We did it guys we can finally be free again..." Himiko said

"Not just yet..." Kiibo said

"What do you mean?" I said

"Everything even the system that makes Monokuma is till functional.... i have to destroy everything and make sure that all this killing game doesn't restart when we escape" Kiibo said

"Yeah good point" Kaito said

"Everyone stand back okay" he said ascending i to the sky and starting to destroy everything in sight

After about several minutes everything was gone. Suddenly Kiibo pressed a botton on himself and headed towards the direction of the walls containing then and suddenly he blew up causing us to fall backwards and the last thing i heard from Kaito was 'Kiibo no!!' Then all I could hear was the ringing in my ears.... he gave himself up just to save us...like what Kokichi did... the only way we could have gotten out was if a strong explosion destroyed our confinement. Once the dust cleared enough we saw a bright blue light pierce threw the rest of the dust... the world wasn't destroyed we were always here... Tsumugi really did lie...Kiibo was right there was no point to having a class trial against her... we most likely would have lost to her against all the odds in our favor
