Seeking the Resolve

Kiibo's pov

There was a knock on the door and I immediately knew that Shuichi was at the door. I walked out of my room and headed down the stairs to open the door but i was then shoved out of the way by Iruma.

"I GOT IT!" She yelled

I didn't fall but i sighed instead and just looked at her. She then swung the door open and Shuichi jumped really badly. She laughed and looked at him.

"Well if it isnt the fucking virgin Shuichi!" She smiled

"Yeah hello to you too Iruma.." Shuichi said

I moved Iruma a bit from the door so i can poke my head out and see him.

"Sorry about that Shuichi, come on inside.." I said

"Ah.. thanks" he said

Iruma stood off to the side and let him walk in the house. Shuichi followed behind me as i took him to the living room. I then pulled a chair for Shuichi and I then sat down on the couch.

"Please take a seat." I said gesturing to the chair

"Thank you Kiibo." He said sitting down

I then look at Shuichi once i fully got settled.

"So whats going on for you to come visit me?" I said

"Well something recently happened to Kokichi and he somehow can't remember me or anyone and as i drove here i was thinking of a way to make him remember and i came to the conclusion to use a Flashback light." He said

I then thought for a bit. Should i really make something like this? Its not really safe and it can destroy people's lives if it's used in a place were there are a lot of people. It not only effects the person its being used on but who ever is in that room.

"Shuichi.... you know how a flashback light works right?" I said

"Yes i do" he said

"So you know the effects and how it effects not only the person its being used on but also the people in that room correct?" I said

"Yes i do know about that..." he said

"Well in that case... I would say no on making you one right now because i need to know more about your situation with Kokichi not because im nosey but because i want to know if I'm making it for the right reason and that i can trust your not trying to trick me even though i know you wouldn't." I said

Shuichi looked at me with a serious face and then began to explain everything from what he knew. He had explained to me that Kokichi somehow fell into the hands of the remnants of despair and that he didn't remember him or Kaito.. and when they were trying to help him remember Rantaro Amami had appeared and shot Kaito and that Kokichi ran away with him. I then sat in shock from what he told me...

"How Rantaro is he alive?" I questioned

"I was just as surprised as you... even though he is the ultimate survivor but we saw him get killed thats why I found that news shocking as well." He said

"That is true... he was confirmed dead but yet here he is..." i said

"Thats why i came and asked you if you could make me a flashback light... this isn't natural and Kokichi would never go into the remnants of despair." He said

"Okay...I'll make you one on one condition because this is my biggest worry about giving you one." I said

"Well what is it Kiibo." He said

"My condition is that you try and get Kokichi in a room by himself when you use it, and this is where my fear comes in... when you use this flashback light with people in a room. It will bring back the person they originally were because this flashback light is gonna be a little different from the killing games flashback lights and this one will work slow to replace a persons identity that it won't give them a mental shock." I said
