"Wow...this city is Beautiful!" Sana exclaimed.

"Glad you enjoy it! So you two are joining the Adventurers' Guild huh? Why is that?" (Beltron)

"Well you see, Both our Parents used to be adventurers, and they were good friends with each other so we each decided to become good adventurer's just like them so that we can go back to our village with great stories from all the places we visited!" (Sora)

I quickly made up a backstory, since people wouldn't believe that I was from another world or that Sana was a vampire. It's more understandable hearing stories of adventurer's settling down and having children, then their children growing up to become adventurer's themselves.

As we walked through the city a large building came into view, it was around 8 stories tall. It had magnificently sculpted architecture. The building itself was made from stone, but if you didn't know it was stone then you would believe it was marble. I wonder how they were able to create such architecture when they aren't that advanced in many other aspects, then I remind myself that this is a world of magic so anything would be possible.

When we walked through the large double doors, I saw what seemed like a little marketplace. I suppose this is where adventurer's can come, to buy and sell materials or even weapons.

Sana and I, followed Beltron up the stairs to the second floor until we came to a reception desk. There Beltron began speaking with the woman behind the counter. She looks like a standard type of receptionist. She was wearing a uniform like the other receptionists, had glasses, and her blonde hair was tied up in a ponytail.

"Hello, the situation has been properly explained. So, all I need you two to do is fill out these forms. Then place your hand on this crystal to measure your power, so that we can choose a proper tester. Then if you are able to successfully pass your tests, you will then need to put a drop of your blood on your guild cards, after that the registration will be done. There is a small registration fee of 1,000 Ruld per person. If you can't pay this fee right away, then you are free to pay the fee at a later date, and to have it taken from your future commissions, until the fee has been paid~~"

Interrupting her, "We will pay the fee." Saying that, I took one small gold coin from my pocket and set it on the counter-top.

She stared at me slightly in shock, then took the small gold coin with a smile, and handed over our registration forms along with 998,000 Ruld as change for the small gold coin. (1 small gold = 1,000,000 Ruld)

I truly have to thank Aiko-sama for giving me the knowledge of this world, along with vast linguistic skills. It would be awkward being illiterate in this world.

Sana and I went and sat down on a nearby couch as we started filling out our registration forms. It asked for our names, race, age, which class we would like to receive, and also asking what skills we have.I filled out my name, age, race, and listed that my class would be a magic swordsman.

When I looked over to Sana, she hasn't even started writing yet, so I whispered everything she should write on the form. When we were finished with her form, we had her name as Sana Aise, age was 17, and race was Half-Elf, and her class will be Magician. We both left the skills section blank, as we would prefer to keep our strengths a secret.

When we went up to the receptionist to turn in our registration forms, we heard man begin shouting behind us, "EH!? WHAT ARE THESE KIDS DOING HERE!?" I turned around, and all I saw was just a large muscular man, wielding an equally large battle axe on his back. To his left and right, there were two smaller men but still with a relatively muscular build.

Seems like they are his henchmen, and each of them wielded swords. Using my 'Eye of God' I checked their status menus, I was quite disappointed from what I saw Sana's strength could easily fight on par with the larger man.

After I finished appraising the status of the three delinquents, I turned around and continued talking to the receptionist-san. "So when will we be able to take the test?"

As I tried to continue my business with the receptionist, I felt a hand on my shoulder. When I turned my head I saw one of the henchmen giving me an ugly look. When I started turning my head back to the receptionist the henchmen tightened his grip and snapped at me, "Hey kid!! Since it's clear you don't know who this man is, we will only let you off with a warning if you hand over all your Ruld and this young girl as well!!!"

When they mentioned Sana, I grabbed the hand that was on my shoulder and twisted it around until some very audible cracking sounds filled the now silent room. Shortly after the sound of the man's hand shattering passed, the room was then filled with his screams

The other two were shocked, and the other henchman was slightly terrified looking at his pals now mangled arm, unsure how to react to what he had just witnessed.

I stepped my foot over the screaming mans mouth to silence him as I glared at the other two delinquents and spoke aloud, "So you are saying that since It's my first day as an adventurer, I owe you money, and since I don't know anything about you, that means you have the right to take my companion from me all because you can't earn a woman's love on your own, so you feel that gives you the right to rape young girls cause you know you will never find a woman to love the disgusting truth about how you act? Get out of my sight you piss-ants before I stop being merciful." After saying that I pushed off the downed man, and continued my conversation with the receptionist.

She looked at me with eyes full of shock, and a little bit of fear, but also respect for standing up for Sana. She quickly spoke, saying I can take the ranking test tomorrow. Before leaving I asked for an inn she could recommend for me and Sana.

After finishing up my business in with the receptionist, Sana and I walked around the first floor of the Guild house looking at the shops trying to find some starting equipment, when I saw from the corner of my eye a little blacksmith shop that was hidden away in the corner.

When I walked through the door, I saw weapons lining one wall, and armor lining another wall. Then when I looked at the counter there was just a man sleeping next to a bottle of alcohol. It seems that the owner of this little shot is a bit of an alcoholic. However, despite him being a drunkard, at first glance, these seem like good quality weapons.

I figured I would take a look for some gear while we are here, then wake him up when we are ready to pay.

As I was thinking I might have to settle on a normal sword, I noticed a girl coming out of the back with a sword. She was covered in black smudges, and soot. I can guess that this girl must be the blacksmith that runs this shop, and the drunkard must be her partner or something.

"Oh hello, I'm sorry, I didn't realize any customers came inside. Is there something I can help you with?" She said, smiling. However judging by her eyes, it seemed like she was talking more to Sana than to me. She must have a personal problem with a lot of men.

Deciding not to get involved in her problems I glance to Sana saying she should talk to her, as I walk passed the woman to check the new sword she just brought out. "Sorry for intrusion...just got in town...signed up with Guild...pick up gear and weapons...before inn....My name Sana Aise...and Sora Takahashi."

After Sana finished the introductions with the shopkeep I spoke up, "How much for this Katana?" I really wanted this sword, not just cause it was a Katana, but because the quality of the craftsmanship was beautiful. When I held the sword up she tilted her head at me and seemed confused by my question, "Katana? Sorry but that type of blade doesn't have a name yet. However.....Katana does sound nice."

I was so engrossed in wanting this beautiful sword that I had forgotten that this sword doesn't exist in any known records, otherwise I would have learned about it during my transfer. However, I can't let this opportunity pass me by, when it might be years before finding a sword with as good a quality of blade as this one.

Before the conversation could continue any further I spoke up, "900,000 Ruld!" It was almost everything from my half of the Ruld, but I can't let this pass me.

She looked at me shocked, "Are you sure sir? This sword is only a single-edged blade." As she spoke, I only looked at her with eyes of determination.

Before she could try talking to me again about the sword I immediately set 9 Large Silver coins onto the counter, and like that she agreed, and let me purchase the Katana.
