Dane's POV.
Suddenly my body moves away from hers on its own. I see her red eyes and she has a smug look on her face.
"H-How?"
"I'm too powerful, even for Quinn."
She lifts her spell and kisses me. I immediately respond to her, forgetting all about what just happened.
She pulls away and I growl. She places her hand on my chest calming me down. "I'll be back Dane, I promise. I've to go now. I'll see you soon."
We share one final deep kiss and then I see her car leave.
I lied. I lied to her that I'll go knock on her home and ask her brothers to let me see her.
I'll break their bones and take my mate away. That's what I'll do.
I really hope it doesn't come to that. But thinking how am I ever going to sleep on a bed without her anymore, I'm not too hopeful.
