27💙 Lovely Mate

He felt soft kisses on his neck and bit his lips, arching his body. A soft hand ran down his waist and he shivered opening his eyes slowly to meet brown ones. The little guy with white hair, brown eyes and freckles on his cheeks grinned sweetly and bent down to peck his cheeks

"Good morning, Zane!" He said cheerily and Zane kept on a blank expression. He nodded and looked away from those gorgeous brown eyes which made him weak

Ares pouted and leaned down to nuzzle Zane's neck

He purred and scented his mate, all whilst mewling. Zane growled and pushed the guy away before getting up. He grumbled and went inside the bathroom before he could do something he'll regret like marking him.

Ares layed sadly on the bed while his wolf whimpered inside his head

'How long should we try?' Ares asked his wolf who layed in sadness on the ground

'I no longer know, Ares. I just want a mate' His wolf said and Ares sighed, twisting to look at the wall

'We have been trying for a month now! He still doesn't look happy to have us here. He looks annoyed' Ares said

'Oh how I wished I could state otherwise' His wolf whined and tears filled Ares's eyes.

'Maybe.. Maybe we're unwanted. We should..leave" Ares decided in the end. His wolf howled inside his head and nodded.

Zane sighed and closed his eyes. He smiled softly as he thought of the little wolfie. Zane didn't mean to be mean to Ares, he didn't. Ares was the long lost son of the King of werewolves and Zane was sure that his wolf wouldn't resist attacking his cute mate sexually if he got cozy. Zane had sent a letter to the council and got an answer last week.

Zane had no right to mate with Ares and although it would pained Zane, there's a chance that the king would forbid their mating and Zane was just a mere alpha who lived in a small cabin. Besides, the main reason why Zane can't do anything is because Ares's power wasn't out yet. No one can feel his power except for Zane and once Zane marked Ares, his power would be out and everyone would be after him. Zane will give his life to protect his mate but god forbid something happens to his love.

Zane felt a wave of sadness and frowned. He quickly got out of the shower and walked outside only for his heart to pain when he saw his sweet mate cry loudly.

"Oh baby" was what came out of his lips and Ares eyes snapped to his mate. Ares was shocked when his mate got down on his knees

"Come here my baby boo" Zane cooed. Zane internally cringed with how soft he appeared to be but Ares only whimpered and got up only to jump on his naked mated. Zane hugged his little 5'2 wolfie close and got up with him in his arm. He sat on the bed and rubbed his mate's back

"You don't love us! Why don't you love us??? I love you so much b-but you don't!" Ares whimpered and Zane hugged his baby tighter

"No no baby boo! I love you so much, so so much! I'm sorry baby boo, I'm so sorry. I love your morning kisses, I love waking up next to you, you don't know it but I always hug you at night. You might think it's because I move but I just want to hug you! And the beautiful bracelet you have on your wrist, the one you thought you found in the forest.. I made it for you. I know where you go when you want to be alone. I know you love cherries and that you love playing with the squirrels without wanting to hunt them. I love you so much baby boo" Zane rambled, not caring that he just destroyed his manliness and Ares whimpered nuzzling his mate's neck
