"Mate hugs!" Ember yips excitedly in my brain.
I chuckle as she quickly backs up and glares at Sky.
I tense as I hear a loud squeal from behind me.
"JESS!"
I feel a shove, as a tall caramel colored female with long dark hair pushes past me pulling Jessica into the biggest hug I've ever seen. She had this large loving energy. You could nearly feel the connection they had just by watching them.
I watch as Jessica's eyes light up and her face glows. I can see the rosy color in her cheeks left over from our hug a moment ago. Her hair caught the light just right so those golden strands shimmered as she moved.
"So pretty..." Ember whispers in my mind.
"Absolutely beautiful..." I whisper out loud. Making all eyes fall in me.
Crap.
"Ember!" I growl in my mind.
"But it true Eli!" He growls back.
"Surprise Jess!..." Sky yells out.

"...and it was all Prince Eli's idea!" He flashes a smile at me then a wink as Jessica pulls me into another hug.
"Thank you so much Eli! This is like the best birthday gift ever!" She steps back, a huge smile beaming up at me.
Oh no. I'm hooked. I would literally do anything to see that look again, and feel that excited hug.
"Ember, we need to get her something for her birthday that will make that happen again..."
"Ice cream?" Ember yips.
"Maybe..." I chuckle at his simple response.
I turn to Jennikah holding out my hand. "Hello Luna Jennikah, nice to meet you."
