"Your highness," the dark haired King pauses in his words, taking a moment to gesture from the young Prince standing in front of him to the eldest of the combination twelve Princes and Princesses standing neatly in a ling. "before your father and I begin our talks of marital alliance, I thought it best that you meet my children. Prince Julien, my eldest daughter, Princess Mariposa, the Crown Princess of Scots, England, Ireland and Wales." King James of Scotland begins, his large hand finding the pale appendage of his firstborn child with his wife, Queen Marie. Julien takes the moment to properly look at this divine creature he already knows well.

Mariposa is tall and positively regal, standing in front of the Finnish Crown Prince, King and Queen Consort. Her gown clings to her torso, the brightest shade of white holding in her trim waist, covering her biceps, before extending out in the brightest bloom of her skirts. Delicate satin embellishments scatter down the white satin of her gown, an overlay of peridot tulle overlaying the gentle material. Her hair is long, falling in gentle waved curls, thick and the darkest shade of raven. ending at her hips. A trim neck is decorated in diamonds and platinum, a matching crown standing tall upon her head, earrings skimming her bare shoulders. It speaks her heirship status without any words from the King of Scotland. Her face, trim and divine, it threatens to pull Prince Julien into an easy feeling of subduement at the sight of the trim nose, long and thin, high up cheekbones, pouty lips with the brightest green eyes he had ever seen. Her face wears the slightest layer of cosmetics, not that she needs any at all. Long fingers are decorated in gems and jewels, her dress positively shimmering in the early morning summer sunlight.

"Your highness," Mariposa says, her voice gentle and melodic as she curtseys in a way that speaks of well endowed education, but it is so far away from submissive. "A pleasure." she finishes.

"The pleasure is all mine, your royal highness." Julien finds it in himself to bow after a push to his shoulder by his mother. He takes the hand offered to him by the King of Scotland, pressing a kiss to the soft, pale skin that smells slightly of lavender and jasmine if he were to give it a little too much thought than what was proper for a meeting that reeks of formality.

"My firstborn son, James." the King moves on from Mariposa, his left arm wrapped around his back, the right extending out to the tall young man who looks barely younger than his sister. Julien bows as is proper, as does the  Prince of Scotland. The young Prince is muscular and well gifted in the appearance department, he wears onyx and crimson satin, his youth apparent in the blueness of his eyes, a slight vanity in the way his hair is held back by a ribbon and the way his beard is trimmed and clipped to emphasise the sharp jawline he wears. The Prince and the King look rather similar, Julien notes. Although he can indeed see Queen Marie in the face of her son.

"Princess Margret." The King moves on towards the third in line. Princess Margret does not hold height to her name, but the greenness of her eyes and the pout of her lips speak of beauty to the point of bewitchment. Red heir falls in a loose braid down her back, her skin border lining on a slight pinkness, and it is not helped by the gentle rose of her cotton gown. She is indeed a beauty of youth and freshness. "Your future bride, should things go the well we've planned." King James smiles gently, as his thirdborn daughter falls into a gentle curtsey. Prince Julien of Austria bows low to the nineteen year old Princess. This Princess does not wear diamonds or chiffon, instead there is a crown of white rose and baby's breath held together on a bright emerald leafy wreath on her red hair. He can see a slight smudge of dirt on the girls' cheek, the slight askewment of her dress amuses him.
