THIRD PERSON'S POV

"So why'd you want me to be there as soon as possible, Damiano?" Coraline asked curiously as she sat down on the edge of his unmade bed.
"I want to show you something" Damiano replied proudly.
"Is this another one of your pranks where you make me close my eyes and then suddenly I have whipped cream all over my face?" she laughed.
"No, no. I would never do that, my dear Coraline. It's something really cool and I think you'll like it" he responded and got his guitar from the corner of his room.

"Since when do you play?" Cora wanted to know but he shushed her quickly.
"No questions yet. Just enjoy the show" Damiano demanded and started to play the first chords.

I'm gonna pick up the pieces
And build a Lego house

"You can clap now" Damiano said sarcastically.
"That was...beautiful. I didn't know you knew how to play...or sing like that" Coraline stuttered, completely in awe.
"Well, now you know. Did you like it tho?" he interrogated.
"Like it? I loved it, Dami" she told him and hugged him tightly.

He was taken aback at first but it didn't take long for him to return the warm embrace. They stayed like this for a while until Coraline broke the hug but he managed to give her a small kiss on the forehead which made her blush right away.

"I wish I could listen to you sing that song forever" Coraline commented.
"I'll make you a cd so you can listen to it all the time" Damiano smirked and Cora laughed.
"You know, I'd actually like that a lot" she then mentioned.
"Sure thing. Give me a day or two and you'll have it" he assured her with a smile.
"You're the best, dork" Coraline laughed and leaned her head on the shoulder of her best friend.
