Summary:

Review:
I like the twisted drama on the end. I thought it will be a simple fluffy romance with heartache separation. I felt like tag drama is not quite match but near the end it is showing the drama in the story.
The story starts with MC waiting for her father to be out of prison after 6 years. Her father was a diplomat and jailed due to corruption for MC mother hospital bill. MC mother got a cancer, after her surgery MC father was jailed and soon MC mother died. I think at first it was said suicide but later changed to her cancer relapse. MC went away after her father jailed and never come back. ML pick her up from in front of prison saying that her father already out and waiting in his house.
MC and ML are childhood sweetheart. They were close until ML has a stepsister who keep pestering him and MC thought they were couple and keep her distance with ML. When the step sister has birthday, she forced ML to take her to bar. ML took MC and her friend who love the stepsister. When ML and the friend went to buy a cake, a bartender gave MC and the stepsister a drugged cocktail. ML back and drove away the bartender, he also took a sip of the drink. ML took MC home then they did the deed. Next morning they heard the stepsister scream. Fyi MC house is in front of ML house. ML and MC went to see her in ML room, the room is in mess and the stepsister is raped by the bartender. ML called MC friend, the friend told him that he did take the stepsister home with the bartender but only the bartender took her upstairs.
ML stepmother and stepsister blame ML and MC. Stepmother divorce ML father and took the stepsister away. Then soon after MC father is jailed and her mother died.
MC works as nurse in city B while ML is the intern doctor. MC has a senior who helped her to get the job. Yup the senior actually like her. ML keep getting jealous. In the end ML scheme MC so their parent knew that they slept together and lied that MC is pregnant so he plan to marry MC. MC thought ML only want to marry her for the sake of child. She knew from ML old friend who loves him in college that ML kept her photo in his phone and depressed until he is dying. MC then believe that ML love her.
MC met the stepsister again, she has bestfriend who also fell in love with ML. In stepsister and stepmother version MC is a vixen who seduced ML and break then apart. Fyi ML and stepsister never date, the others only make rumor because the stepsister keep following ML and both are beauty so other people ship them out. They thought MC is a third wheel. Kinda messed up logic. Stepsister also resent ML and MC due to her getting raped. Even though she is the one who wants to go to bar, also shamelessly went to ML room after she was drugged. The bartender at that time only want to steal but because the stepsister went to ML room and beg him, so he rape her too.
Near the end the stepsister got sick, a thyroid cancer. She went to ML hospital. MC took care of her for several days then stepsister talks to her and said she won't bother them again. At first I thought the author white washing the villain. Until near end, there's MC senior perspective.
He is actually the stepsister cousin, stepmother is his aunt. His aunt suddenly ask his mother to make 2 person miserable which is MC and ML father, she also said MC name and told that she is a vixen who seduced stepsister boyfriend. Thus lead to MC father got jailed for 6 years. The senior then met MC in hospital, she is about to abort her child but cancelled. She lost her child due to military training (duh that's expected). The senior then told his cousin the stepsister when he treat her in hospital that she is not the only victim. MC father is jailed and lost her mother because of the stepmother. MC also got abortion and have risk of infertility. ML also miserable too. So the stepsister ask him to transfered her to ML hospital. She then have conversation with MC saying she won't bother them again. At this point I felt the stepsister is a 1 man show. She make a fuss, felt victimize she had grudge, then realize she also make the other miserable unintentionally so let's just forget the grudge.
Until the end MC and ML didn't know that MC father went jail because of the senior father and stepmother.
The extra is MC got pregnant, they got a son who it seems a playboy. MC watch an idol drama before she gave birth. ML thought his son really become like idol drama.
