Review:
As usual, I skipped too much near the end. It's just become a bit boring and easy to guess. The novel started good to show ML and FL development. But then it focus more on ML. There's no development for other characters.
ML is the last human in apocalypse. He can survive alone because his ability is purifying. He died due to starvation. Then he transmigrate to Da Qi era.
OML was a son of official in county. The county was swept away by flood. His father was framed taking the relief money. His family was executed. OML fled with the refugee and hide in nearby village. He ask a man to adopt him so he can stayed in the village. He then married FL to settle down. When he went to the town, he was kidnapped and sold to digging mine. The mine is illegal and owned by Jin Wang aka current emperor's brother.
OML hit his head and in comma. The guards thought he's dead so they threw him outside. OML survive and walk back to FL village. OML died in front of the village. Then ML transmigrate. ML is happy to have a wife and twin son. He is really weak and need to eat a lot. ML tried to write manuscript for merchants to get some money.
FL began to sell things in her village. During this time, ML basically eating soft rice. Since he took care the cooking and children while writing manuscript.
There's FL cousin who is rebirth. She initially married OML. But then she remarried when OML is missing. OML died in front of the village. The cousin saw how FL family got better. She felt jealous and keep regretting. She thought if she hire doctor to save OML in last life, maybe she can be like FL, becoming a scholar wife.
ML join school in county. He family move to county. ML got 1st place in exam. He make books to tell the story about flood in his hometown and the digging mine. He made it anonymous since it's dangerous if he is discovered by Jin Wang and Yan Wang. The books become famous. Jin Wang was accused taking the relief money. But actually Yan Wang is the one who took the money and frame Jin Wang. that cause Jin Wang suspect OML family and executed them.
ML keep studying while FL keep expanding her business. They met OML uncle aka his mother's brother. The uncle was tricked by Yan Wang. Yan Wang said he'll help him to overturn ML family case if the uncle help him making money. The uncle pretend to be dead after he knew the truth and met ML.
Current emperor is sick and doesn't have a son. He took in a relative baby as his son. But then Yan Wang scheme and burn the son's face. The son is dying and saved by ML. ML can cure anything slowly.
ML also met his sister. The sister already married when the family was killed. She then was abandoned by her husband. Her daughter was killed by the husband family. The sister took revenge and repeatedly target her ex husband. She works with eunuch who is the emperor assistant.
The emperor doesn't have empress. He doted on Liu Guifei who adopt the burned son. Liu Guifei and the eunuch know if Jin wang or Yan wang become the emperor, they'll die.
Liu Guifei ask the eunuch to find a fake son so the fake son can become emperor.
They decided to make ML as fake son. ML got the news from his sister. He start changing his appearance so he look like the emperor and Liu Guifei.
The emperor likes ML. He took care Jin wang and Yan wang before he introduce ML as his son. That's it the end.
