Summary:

Everyone thought that she was just putting up a brave front. However, no one knew that on the night the Crown Prince remarried, the Emperor paid a visit to the temple.
The next day, Chu Ning changed out of her Taoist robe, did her hair, and entered Taiji Palace. She smiled calmly at the horrified Crown Prince and his new wife.
Review:
I would rate this 3.5, I feel the story is good but there's no surprise. The storyline is exactly like the summary.
MC knew about his father truth after she married for 2 years. She knew it from an old butler, later the butler was killed by her husband subordinate. ML lead his troop and seized the throne before MC husband can ascend. MC then plan to get help from ML. She realize that ML attracted to her so she seduce him. The novel is really good to show how MC felt. She had nothing to offer beside her body, she knew it was humiliating but she choose to throw her dignity years ago when she married the crown prince in order to survive. She only want to live and cleared her father's name. She had a cousin from her mother who grew up with her. She ask the crown prince to help him. Turns out in secret the crown prince ask the cousin to choose, going far away or castrated and stay close to MC. The cousin choose to stay and become the crown prince advisor.
ML began to love MC then guide her so she can live for herself. MC slowly like ML. Then just like the summary, the crown prince ask MC to retire as crown princess, he promised her that she will become his queen once he ascend. MC agreed but once she retired, she also ask to enter temple as nun. The crown prince originally plan her to reduce as concubine not leaving him. Then the crown prince married the widow of a general. MC then show up as queen. Later ML easily captured the crown prince.
