Summary:
The first time Jiang Chuyi met Zong Ye, she coincidentally saw him being confessed to.
In the dimly lit stairwell. Avoiding the surveillance camera, he leaned against the wall, cupping his hands to shelter from the wind, and lowered his head to light a cigarette. The confessing girl was shy and nervous, while he was completely uninterested.

Review:
I haven't read slow romance for so long. This is really good, making me felt up and down reading their romance moment. It lacks deep background story but it's acceptable. The ending seems as expected and felt like that's it? The big issue seems resolved easily and not important.
MC is a child star, later she fade away. She focused on making literary movies that doesn't have much traffic and lack money. She had a teacher who's a famous literary movie director. The teacher already old and retire.
MC manager want MC to get more exposure and make drama or normal movies instead of literature movie. She took MC to a club. MC met ML at the club. ML is a famous idol boy band, he played bass. The band is about retire in 1 year. They plan to make a movie. MC is chosen to play in the movie.
ML keep trying to get close to MC. MC thought he just being polite to everyone. MC slowly like ML but she know it's bad to love ML because he's an idol while she is just 18th line actress. MC and ML join a variety show. MC felt ML is seducing her. But she is unsure if ML only played with her or seriously love her. She keep dodging ML because she is afraid it will affect ML career.
ML got eye operation. MC then confess to ML that she likes him. She texted ML and said he can check it once his eyes recover. ML who pretend to be blind, instantly recovered. MC asked him to keep low profile so it won't affect ML. ML actually doesn't care much because he become idol because of MC.
ML family is a broken home, his father divorce his mother and remarry a rich woman. ML mother got depressed and suicide. Then ML aunt give small expense to him, he lives alone in rented house. He's isolated in the class. MC who rarely in the class, met him and comfort him. MC doesn't remember it because she only met ML twice, the comfort also perfunctory. But for ML, MC become his only light. MC moved to Beijing for university. ML also chase her, he become homeless. He then met an uncle who picked him up and live together. ML join big entertainment recruit and become idol.
He already plan to quit entertainment once the band disbanded. When his relationship with MC was found out, MC was harassed a lot. Then ML announced his retirement. That's it. Then the fans become controlled despite not reconciled. And no more talked about MC who got harassed.
MC focus back to make literary movies and earn awards. ML open his own record company and make songs.
