Summary:
Ye Mi went to the countryside for five years, and finally died of illness before the college entrance examination resumed.

I'll mark this as complete reading even though I stopped reading around 150.
The beginning is fun like other 70s romance. Then it become boring after they entered college and move to capital. There's no more conflicts. It shifted to self improvement and career.
MC was sick due to hunger. She died in fire, not sure why. Then she is reborn to the past. MC mother and father is remarried. Both have 2 children from previous marriage then 2 more after marriage. So totalled 6 children. OFL is MC stepsister from father previous marriage. OFL is the one who should be sent to village but she scheme and want to make MC replaced her. MC got angry and make a scene. Making her father failed to get promotion and OFL still sent to the village next to MC village. MC is sickly and too young to work in farm.
She is stubborn and never communicate with her family since they never reply her letters. Without family support, she got sick and eventually died. Before she died, she heard a girl saying that MC is a little cannon fodder for OFL stepping stone. MC then knew the girl transmigrate from future world. But MC didn't know who that girl.
MC reborn to after she got drown and saved by ML. ML is also educated send to village. He become teacher. ML propose to MC since he want to take responsibility after saving MC from water. MC initially refuse him. Then she realized that he is the only way for her to survive. MC then agreed and married ML. ML make MC study by tempting her with food. MC start studying and return to junior school.
OFL is in village near MC village. Her bestfriend is engage with a man from MC village. The man asked MC to make a coat for his girl aka OFL bestie. The girl saw it and thought MC seduce her man. Then something bad happen to the man family, the man father may become disability. The girl decide to broke the marriage.
Later the man father got cured. The girl regret it and make a fuss in MC village. ML report her to red band army.
ML took MC back to city A, their hometown. MC refuse to meet her own family. Then they met OFL and her bestie. MC met her mother again. Turns out her mother work overtime to send subsidy for MC but OFL intercept it and take MC money.
MC mother got angry to OFL and her husband. She plan to report OFL but then MC father got hospitalized. He doesn't like MC because he thought MC is not his daughter but from MC mother previous marriage.
MC mother ex-husband is sickly and died. His family is former landlord so they fled abroad. The ex-husband stayed in country since he is sick and know he won't survive. MC mother choose to stay with him along with 2 sons. After ex-husband died, MC mother need to stabilize for her 2 sons since their family got landlord history. She chose to marry MC father because his family is farmer.
After the incident, MC mother divorced MC father. OFL lost her bestie. The bestie is a daughter of village chief. She was kidnapped and almost raped. She escaped and went back to village on her own. The she report OFL as runaway. The police took OFL back to the village. Later she runaway again and become black household. No more news about her.
MC and ML went to college after it's resumed. MC entered English department while ML in physics and mathematics.
A lot study progress and some relationship of MC friends. Mostly it become daily life records. I peek at the end, MC got a daughter and a son.
