Summary:

I stopped reading because just like other novel with chapters >500, the story get dragged and repeated. The drama is actually a lot. I felt like I like the early conflicts, after the main conflicts solved it just like grinding to get rich and connections. The conflicts mostly on MC or ML friend, they just get caught up or the mastermind.
MC married ML nephew in 1st life. The nephew, Gu Jiansheng has 2 sons from 1st wife. The 1st wife died during childbirth because GJ choose to save the baby and sacrifice the mother. MC married as 2nd wife. She took care the 2 sons but not appreciated. She is actually very beautiful but her stepmother oppressed her and ask her to hide her beauty. After marrying GJ, MC keep staying at home. She has no power. Her stepsister become GJ mistress. She is more known as GJ lady instead of MC.
MC rebirth before she met GJ. Her stepmother is about to match her with GJ. MC began to avoid her stepmother plot. MC met ML during her blinddate with GJ. ML fell in love with MC in first sight. Currently, ML married MC stepsister due to his mother urge. ML took care 2 boys. The boys are ML friend's son. The friend died saving ML. The boys mother abused them so ML took them away. ML marry MC stepsister because he thought the boys need mother care. But then the stepsister didn't care them and even poisoned them with stale food. ML plan to divorce her and pursue MC.
MC told ML about GJ and her stepsister affair. The stepsister dislike ML because he didn't bed her, she thought ML is impotent. She hook up with GJ and hope to marry him. MC told her to have child so she can marry GJ. ML also took advantage to get benefit from both side. He threaten the stepsister so she can ask for divorce to her family. He also threaten his nephew to get back his natal family jewelries and house.
ML mother is a 2nd wife. The 1st wife gave birth to 2 sons. ML mother want to keep her reputation so she prioritize the stepsons and grandson over ML. To the point of starvation. When all grown up, ML mother want to reconcile with ML but ML reject her.
MC stepsister divorced ML. ML pursue MC. MC stepmother want to marry off MC so she can get the bride price. MC agreed to marry ML so she can avoid her stepmother plot. The stepmother plan to drug MC and make a man rape her so she was forced to marry. MC switch the drug so the stepsister got drugged. She has sex with the arranged man.
MC stepsister lost her child because GJ delayed to save her. MC stepsister lost her uterus. She still want to marry GJ. She was sent to out of city by her own family. MC married ML. They live happily. Some minor conflicts with GJ. GJ also work in machine factory, same as ML. ML just moved to sales dept while GJ is a branch manager or something which said is higher than ML.
MC suspect GJ father is not ML family since their face and personality differ so much with ML father. They investigate it. Turns out the 1st wife cuckold ML father. She slept with ML father's distance relative who is a scum. She has a daughter as 1st child, she swapped it with relative child so she can have a son. Because at that time ML grandparent is sick and ML father actually don't like 1st wife. She is afraid that she'll be divorced once the grandparent died. Then she also has a son for 2nd child.

In front she become good sister with ML mother and forced her to marry ML father and took care her 2 sons. ML mother agreed because ML father helps her family. She thought it was because of 1st wife who asked ML father to do so. Later it was found out that ML father took his own initiative to help ML mother family but the 1st wife object it so it's delayed.
The 1st wife also switched medicine for ML grandparent. Causing them to die early. ML father got angry and sever ties in newspaper. The 2nd son actually knew his origin so he leave early and seldom got back. He also marry a powerful wife so he can get by if ML father found out. GJ was sent to bare land branch. GJ parent just fade out.
MC father divorced the stepmother. After that the stepmother also fade out, no news. The stepsister was sent to countryside and forced to marry old man with 5 kids.
After that it revolve around ML work to sell machine. MC who open beauty shop and build connections. This is where I stopped reading.
