I feel it's been a long time since I write the last review. This novel really take my time. It feels like reading 3000 chapters. Each chapter become longer and longer. I skipped the ending or the bonus chapter.
This novel have a lot of plot, a bit drama but it's more like politic, family and war drama. There is white lotus villains but they become small villains overtime.
I don't even remember the beginning after finishing this novel. MC, Gu Jiao transmigrate to a fool village woman. She was an assassin with high medical skill. After transmigration, she has a big red birth mark on her face. She was ridiculed by the villagers. Her parent died, she then live alone. She found a man injured and took him home and married him. He is ML, Xiao Liulang. MC got prophecy dream and keep saving ML. They got close slowly. MC also help a grandma which turns out the Empress Dowager. MC also adopted a child from temple which later become a young general.
Then MC found out she was switched at birth. She should be a marquis daughter. The marquis prefer his daughter he raised, Gu Jinyu because she is beautiful and filial. MC has a twin brother who has heart problem. He need to be operated one day which is much later.
MC went to capital with the family because ML took capital exam. At first ML always flunk his grade because he didn't want to go back to capital but he relented when MC believe his skill. ML is actually a fake Marquis Xuanping son. The marquis married Princess Xinyang and has a son. Then the marquis save a slave from another country, he also had a son with her which is ML. The princess thought ML is her own son. ML grew up without knowing his birth secret. He then met a pair of brothers. The older brother said that his younger brother is the Marquis illegitimate son aka ML step brother. ML promise to take them meeting his father. He took them to inn. Turns out actually the Godfather is from space. He cultivate MC to take her blood in order to survive. But he fell in love with MC. He then plan everything to protect MC after she transmigrate.
