I was distracted a lot when reading this novel. I don't have the passion to keep reading it in 1 go. But actually the novel is good. There are a lot comedy skit in it. It really felt MC and ML is a perfect fit. ML love MC at 1st sight long before she met him but he never show it. After they are together ML also wonder how his love at 1st sight become someone like MC 😂 sometime MC is like a crazy person.
MC is a journalist in Finance magazine. ML is business figure, his company is Mingyu bank. MC is beautiful and got top place on her works. She tried to interview ML but ML didn't have time. Then MC find out that her boyfriend cheated. She left her bracelet on the car handle to hinted the boyfriend that she know his cheating. MC want to dump him after he beg forgiveness but turns out the boyfriend ask break up because he want a leap in his career, the other woman is a rich daughter. Her uncle drove expensive car. He even took his gift for MC and gave it to new girlfriend.
MC got angry. Then she found out the expensive car is ML's. She thought ML is the cheater uncle. She seduced ML a lot. ML knew she tried to get close to him with purpose so he restrain himself. But in the end he thought if MC went after his money or looks that's okay too. So they got close with ambiguous relationship.
Then MC was invited to her friend wedding. Her ex and new girlfriend also come. The new girlfriend said MC dating old man openly. MC then left after she know ML come to pick her up. MC then ask the new girlfriend to say hello to her elder. The new girlfriend then say hello to the driver. The driver is her uncle not ML. ML help MC to vent her anger to the cheater couple. MC was afraid ML will know the truth, she already love ML. ML learn the truth from his real niece who is MC intern. ML then block MC. They went to cold relationship for a while.
MC tried to contact ML several times. Then ML finally relent and forgive her. They become lover and soon MC live with ML. I like their relationship just go with the flow. There's no direct question such as will you be my girlfriend or I love you, but they keep testing the other feeling through small talks and action.
MC got addicted to acting after she tried to seduce ML. Sometimes she will act and ML just watch and go along with her. 1 time when he pick up MC, he suddenly left the car before MC arrive. MC look for him in the car flipping arm rest etc. ML saw it from behind and wonder how can he love this woman. MC then got embarrassed because ML saw her act silly.
Their relationship goes smoothly. The ending is their wedding. There's also ML niece who love MC blind date. There's no result with her relation, she left abroad to follow the man and start studying.
