The eyes staring back at me know everything. I can't hide my shame, my guilt. Its gaze cuts through my wall of denial and anxiety, straight into the thoughts and feelings I keep tightly coiled inside me.
No matter how deep the mask, my reflection reveals all.
When, then, will it smile? When will its eyes brighten?
