Ruhi's POV
Rudra walked into his room, but he paused for a moment, took a deep breath, and gently pushed the door to open.
Inside, he found Vaidehi already asleep.
(Vaidehi was getting bored while waiting for Rudra, and she was also tired too much, so she changed into her normal clothes.
As she lay down on bed.
when sleep covered her eyes, she didn't get even a clue )
Rudra, too, changed into casual and went to the balcony and stood there holding a rod of the balcony and looked at half moon shining in the sky with stars.
He kept looking into the sky for a while, and some giggles strike in his mind
(" no no rudraaa nai" a girl was running here and there while giggling and rudra was running behind her)
His gaze went on watch he was wearing, and his eyes filled with fresh water
A voice was hitting in his mind. "nahii rudra, how can we do this? Think about our family once,,,
"But what about us?" Rudra asked
"i said no rudra." She replied
"Tell me, what about us?" Rudra again repeated
"idk, but what i know is this is wrong. We can't do this." She replied
His thoughts break by his phone's notification
It was vansh's msg
Message "Have some deep breath and move on. i know it's not easy, but what did you guys have done? After that, you don't have any option
Best wishes for the new life"
Rudra sighed after reading the text and lay on the coach in the balcony while starting at the moon and soon drifted into sleep
The next morning, Rudra woke up before vaidehi and went to the washroom
Alarm buzzed nd vaidehi wake up nd found rudra no where
She thought, "ye Rudra kaha h, (while seeing clean bed beside her)
And hered a shower noise; got that he's in washroom
"ufff, i hope he's not mad at me afterall i slept before he came. I hope he's not.. ummm kya karu ? Should i have to pick clothes for him? Of course vaidehi he's your husband now nd as you saw in tv serials nd movie it's your duty" she thought
She was cooking too much in her mind, her thoughts break by hearing door sliding of wardrobe area and she saw him coming into room
He went towards dressing table, looked into mirror, set his hair; wear watch from the table, and moved out without noticing Vaidehi's existence
She muttered to herself, "wtf..... is he forgotten that he's married now and his wife is also living in the room?"
Her alarm buzzed again, and her thought broke
"vaidehi ye bhalehi bhul gaya tu mat bhul it's your first day in sasural" (forget him and get ready it's your 1st day here) She advised herself,
Rudra went downstairs and went to the prayer area and performed his daily pooja
She quickly got up and went to washroom, after taking a quick shower, she did her minimal makeup after getting ready in the saree (because her maa said to wear a saree on 1st day at sasural, hihi)
"aa gaya mahadev ko jal chadake," sunaina asked
"jii maa," he replied and touched her feet
"khush, reh," she replied while giving blessings
Rudra took blessings from his grandparents as his daily routine, and they blessed him
"Vaidehi uth gai?" Sunaina asked
(Is vaidehi awake?)
But Rudra was busy on the phone and he didn't reply
"Rudra," Gayatri said, "This time
"j ji dadima," Rudra replied
"Your maa is asking you something," Gaytri said
"s sorry, maa, i was just..." Rudra replied, paying attention towards sunaina
"i was asking about vaidehi beta. Where's she? " sunaina asked
"I'm here, aunty" Vaidehi from the middle of the stairs
"Aunty nhi beta maa kaho ab." Gaytri advised her
(You should address her as maa from now dear)
"Sorry, i mean maa," Vaidehi said while correcting herself
"it's all right, soon you'll be habitual," sunaina said with a polite smile
And vaidehi hmmed
Sunaina gestured Vaidehi to touch the feet of Dadaji and Dadima,
And
Vaidehi touched the feet of dadaji and dadimaa, and they blessed her
"To beta kya bana rahi ho apni pehli rasoi me.." (so what are you cooking in ur 1st cooking ritual) Gaytri asked
Vaidehi be like "umm i didn't thought abt it yet"
"chalo kitchen dikhau me tumhe (let's go I'll show you kitchen) Sunaina said
"jii," vaidehi replied while nodding yes
Rudra was not interested in their chitchat he said "umm maa am leaving i have a meeting."
"are lekin.." sunaina was about to say.. but Gaytri intrupt "Rudraaa bahu ki pehli rasoi h aaj bina nashta kiye kaise ja sakta h tu"
(It's the 1st cooking ritual of vaidehi. How can you leave without breakfast)
"dadimaa, i have a very important meeting and even am not hungry," Rudra replied
"Rudra, you are not going anywhere without breakfast," Suraj ordered this time
Rudra huff nd call someone " I'll be late... residual the meeting.. hn"
Sunaina smiled and took vaidehi to the kitchen
"bahar garaden me to ja sakta hu na agar ijazat ho to?" Rudra asked suraj sarcastically
Dadaji gave him a look, and he went to the garden area
