After bidding farewell to Vansh, Rudra returned home at around 3 pm, as he had received numerous calls from Sunaina urging him to come home early.

Ahaan met him outside the house, where preparations were underway for the reception. "Bhai, kahaan reh gaye the? Maa, Dadu, Papa, sab mera sar kha gaye," Ahaan complained.
(Brother, where were you? Mom, Grandpa, Dad, everyone was bothering me for you, they ate my head)

"Sahi salamat to dikh raha hai tera sar," Aashi chimed in from behind.
(Your head seems fine and healthy.)

"Tujhse kisne pucha?" Ahaan retorted, "Jab dekho tab beech mein tang adani rehti hai bas."
(Who asked you? You always interfere for no reason.)

"O hello, tu to apna muh bandh he rakh," Aashi shot back.
(Shut your useless mouth)

"Guys, please, kahi aur jake lad sakte ho? I'm really not in the mood right now to solve your senseless fights," Rudra said, visibly irritated.
(Guys, please, can you fight somewhere else? I'm really not in the mood right now to deal with your pointless arguments.)

"Only because you are saying, bhai, varna aaj maine is Ahaan ke bachhe ka sar fod dena tha," Aashi said, making faces.

"Haa, bhai, just for you, varna is chepdi ke muh kaun lage," Ahaan added, also making faces.

"What chepdi? Ab ye kya hai?" Aashi asked.

"Mirror me jake apni shakal dekh le, you'll get to know what a chepdi is, okay," Ahaan replied.

Rudra went inside, leaving both of them to continue their argument. He went straight to his room but didn't find Vaidehi there. He took a deep breath and went to the washroom to freshen up.

Vaidehi entered the room from Dadaji's room, looking lost as she recalled her recent conversations with Dadu.

[Flashback]
Vaidehi had gone to Dadu's room with chai.

Suraj: "Aree, Vaidehi, beta, aao."

Vaidehi: "Aapki chai, Dadu?"
(Your tea, dadu)

Suraj: "Tumne banai hai?"
(You made it?)

Vaidehi: "Kya lagta hai aapko?"

Suraj smiled and asked her to sit.

Vaidehi: "Dadu..."

Suraj: "Haa, beta."

"Mujhey aapse kuch baat karni hai, Dadu," Vaidehi finally said after hesitating a lot.

"Beta, mujhe apne Dadu jaisa hi samjo. You know na, we were best friends," Suraj said.

"Isiliye to aapse baat karna zaruri samjha maine Rudra se karne se pehle," she said.
(That's why I felt it was necessary to talk to you before speaking with Rudra)

"Matlab mai kuch samjha nahi, beta. Khulke batao," Suraj said.

"Dadu, vo... vo actually, maine aaj subha garden me aapki aur Rudra ki sari baatein sun li thi," Vaidehi said.
