"𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤, 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐱."

Oh, how you missed the warmth for years, your heart only longing more for it, each passing days.

If only you could hold onto him for eternity....!

"You have done well, as to please me."

He spoke slowly pulling away from the embrace, never once looking away from your eyes.

He was thrilled to the point feeling content, not because he was "pleased" with you but feeling the victory of a forgotten challange you once threw to him.

Forgotten for you, but the case seemed far from familiar for him.

Five years ago, you made the vow to be his, until eternity, to be his sword which he wished to swing however he pleased. You vowed to devote your soul, your body, your mind, your everything except your heart.

You never gave your heart to him, nor did he care. It was not something to be taken of, all he had with you was a bond which was bounded by devotion and loyalty.

You were bounded to abide by his words, you never had the choice nor did you yearn for it anymore.

How could you when all you were left with were fragments of nightmare from your past, you did not have anything pleasant to look back to, what you had were screams and cries blaming at you for something you never did...it hurt your heart, if only you had a clue what all those grievance was about.

You craved answers but certainly not receiving any at all you lost the hope, to find the buried truth, maybe it was for the best?

As days turned into years nothing changed at all for you, you were still the same old Y/N the only thing that differed was being bound by the shackles you were not aware of.

The shackles which she mistook for freedom led her to days of misery.

All she did was kill, kill and kill.

She had grown numb to all the pathetic pleas those people let out for her to spare their life, if not theirs at least their kid's but all that begging and plea went to deaf years, she couldn't help but struggle to hold herself together, she was trying, trying so hard to keep herself sane...But she knew it better than anybody else that she was far from that, moreover she was ruthless but never seemed to admit it because deep inside there lay a heart which still had ounce of kindness to offer, if given the chance.

And life did give her a chance! Rampaging from village to village she stumbled upon Shimarui village where she met him, Akumae Kioto. The man for whom she fell, for whom the walls around her heart crushed.

He was just a young prince back then, living the life of luxury like any other royal, he too longed for some change in his life

He was just a young prince back then, living the life of luxury like any other royal, he too longed for some change in his life.

Being a curious man he was, he couldn't help but crave for a new turn of page in life.

And life really took a turn for him, he met you, and you met him.

It was a hot sunny day, wariness took the best of her as she threw herself under the shed the greenery provided.

Huffing for air she reached out for the leather pouch containing water she gulped all that was left. Still unable to quench her thirst she shook the tumbler hard in an attempt to rescue even a drop of water, but none come came out adding more to her misery.

Not having any more reliable options she opted to lean over the tree trunk hoping to find solace.

She sighed, closing her eyes, trying to get some sleep.

The thirst still evident within, made her feel uncomfortable through out her body...she was restless yet too tired to do anything about it.

"You look like you need some serious aid." A man, in his early twenties chimed in, concern evident in her voice.

She didn't feel the need to respond back nor did she has the energy to.

But she couldn't help but react as she felt a certain closeness with the stranger she just met, she reluctantly fluttered opened her eyes moving a few inches away.

"I am sorry if I startled you," He chuckled awkwardly, feeling a tinge of embarrassment receiving such vigilant reaction her.

"...but that," He pointed at her waist which had a bleeding scar "looks like it needs some..." He gulped feeling the intimidating aura she radiated, as he stopped when he felt her shooting glares at him.

"It needs, what?" She questioned smirking a bit, finding it fun to tease the flustered man in front of her.

"How can you smile like that!? You are seriously bleeding!" He exclaimed almost upset at her injury as if it were his.

"Treat me, then." She blurted out, making the man choke infront of her.

Oh boy! He felt his heart flutter and cheeks burn...

'What is this?' He thought before crouching down on the ground, pulling out the red bandana from his waist, gently wrapping it around her bloody scar.

Her eyes ran wild through his face as his hands ran through her skin, draping the scarf on her waist.

After he was done aiding he looked up only to find her staring at him with that dreamy look in her eyes, and there we go again his heart hammering as if it would break apart from his chest. She too felt something strange in her heart, a tinge of unfamiliar emotion enveloping her heart.

"You okay now miss...."

"Y/N." You replied before giving him a assured nod.

"I appreciate your aid." You spoke being honestly grateful to this strange kind man.

He chuckled before extending his hands for you to hold, You slipped onto his palms as he gently pulled you up before speaking, "....I am Kioto. It is an honour to meet you miss Y/N!" He beamed radiating this familiar warmth which you failed to recognise.
