Chapter 10

Austral's POV (Pic is of Lee)

Instantly when we came back Elisa literally sprayed me down with a hose of cold water.I tried dodging it and would playfully try to catch the water in my big mouth which made her laugh at my sillyness.I felt so much better knowing that everyone was safe, and that no one knew my secret.Once I was all washed I shook all the access water off of my golden fur, my tongue hanging out, I looked over at Elisa to see she was holding a towel before walking over to me and dried me off, I shook one last time when Aiden came around the corner

"Hey Mom, Dad says it's time to tell the pack the truth of Austral." This made me freeze in fear.I have been hidden all this time yet, Lawrence really wants to tell the pack right now?

"Is your father sure about this?" Elisa asked her son who nodded then looked at me to see my gaze on the ground

"Yeah, Austral, don't worry, no one outside of the pack will see you, remember, the walls we made a month ago." Aiden told me reassuringly that had my wolf raise her head up to look at Aiden's wolf and try to connect with him.I slowly nodded my big head and walked after them, but stopped.Elisa looked over at me and I used my big head to gesture to the house meaning I wanted to get change.She nodded at me

"Picture your human form in your mind, okay?" She informed me and I nodded, waltzing into the house through the back door.I climbed up the steps and entered my room.I will get my clothes that were out in the woods later.

I shifted back which was less painful then shifting into a wolf which was good because I didn't want Aiden to knock my door down and see me naked.I took a deep breath before looking for something to wear.I changed into blue jeans, a scarlet colored top with a outer rim of black on both sleeves and end of my shirt, and put my ring on, the ring Aiden made for me out of scrap metal for my birthday last year.I smiled at the memory before slipping on my black boots and walked out of my room and down the steps.When I reached the last step I looked up to see Aiden, gently smiling at me

"Thank you for coming after me and the others." Aiden thanked me

"It's the least I can do, remember Aiden, you, Lawrence, and Elisa took me in when I had no one else." I stated smugly and he chuckled.He bowed jokingly

"May I escort you down the last step, milady?" Aiden asked me having me snort unattractively.I placed my hand in his, ignoring the electric shocks from the mate bond

"Yes you may, and don't call me milady, call me miladi." I told him and he 'helped' me down the last step

"Miladi?What kind of word is that?" Aiden asked me puzzled

"Hmm, I don't know, the man version of milady."

"You're not a guy though."

"How do you know?" I asked him and he looked me up and down

"I'm pretty sure you don't have a-"

"Aiden!" We jumped when Elisa cut Aiden off of his sentence.Elisa biffed the back of her son's head while he rubbed it, trying to soothe the pain of his mother's wrath

"Hema, we gathered everyone in the pack hall, are you ready my dear?" She asked me and I nodded

"As ready as a cat facing water."

"That doesn't make any sen- Ohh.." Aiden caught my joke and restrained himself from laughing too hard

"Alright, I need to grab a few books upstairs about Lady Oria, so you two can head off." She ran upstairs leaving me and Aiden exit the house, but he stopped me in the door way

"Austral, c-can I kiss you?" My cheeks flared up at my mate's question.His ears turned bright red and I remembered the first time I met him, I thought about kissing him, I wanted to but was also afraid if he was going to go further.But, now, I'm not afraid anymore, we promised each other that we won't do anything too drastic until both of us are over eighteen.
