Lee's POV (Shocking isn't it?Also, he is 9 now)
"Damn it!" I flinched when I heard Maria roar in her Alpha Tone, glass bottles were being thrown across the room downstairs
"Nick, what is the point of you even being here if you don't do anything!" Nick, who was our new third-in-command, always for yelled at by my older sister, even when he does as he is told, he is still lectured about the tiny things that don't matter
"I'm sorry Luna, but we can no longer look for your sister, she has been dead for years now, and you know that."
"SHUT UP!"
Maria used to be sweet and kind, but when news got to us that our sister was dead, Maria couldn't handle it, and now lashes at anyone who goes near her
"You fucking prick, I order you to leave this pack and never come back!" Maria yelled, using her Alpha tone on him so he couldn't refuse.Sam left without a word, Maya tried talking to Maria about how she should take a rest an calm herself down, but that just makes Maria more angry.
As for me, I hold up in my room, waiting to be of age to take over the pack so Maria could catch a break.Maria was there for me when I waited everyday to see Austral back home and would draw with me, even when we both sucked at drawing.
Now, I know she will never come back home, but I know I will see her again when I go up to heaven.
Austral's POV
"Lil!Lil, wake up!" I felt my shoulders being shaken, my eyes flew open and I thrashed around
"Let go of me!" I yelled, my face feeling wet from tears
"Lil, it's me Aiden!" With my uneven breaths, I let my eyes focus to see Aiden staring at me with worried eyes.The nightmare, it came again.I cried into his chest, sobs racking over my body.He whispered soothing words into my ear, trying to calm me down.
After my eyes were dried, I pulled away from Aiden
"Get some more rest Lil, you're going to need it tomorrow." He told me, kissing my fore head.He was about to get off of my bed when I held onto his arm.He stopped and I felt his stare on me as I looked at my lap, cheeks a blazing.He got the measure I sent him through my actions and laid down with me.I didn't want him to be this close to me, but I wanted I feel protected by him, even for a little while.
(Time Skip)
I woke up to the smell of food, and by the smell of it, it was just now being made.I lazily opened my eyes to see the wall in front of me, and when I tried to move, something was keeping me in place.I looked down to see no other than Aiden arm around my waist, his hand resting on my stomach.I knew he wasn't going to let me out of the bed anytime soon.
So instead I embraced being in my mate's arms and slowly turned around to get more comfortable, snuggling into his chest.For half an hour I laid there with Aiden still sleeping next to me, as I did this, I thought about what to do and such.Then I got a idea, I will stay here for 3 days then ask Aiden and Lawrence if me and Dad can join the pack, meaning I will have to go and get him and such.But I would half to convince them first before I do anything.
Aiden stirred so I even my breaths once again, knowing he was waking up.I heard him groggily groan and felt him move around a little bit to change position, he stopped abruptly and I felt the hair in my face being pulled back to behind my ear.The tingles from his finger tips felt amazing, don't call me stalker or anything, I'm just saying.
"I will protect you.." I heard him whisper which made Sandy purr, but I held it down so he wouldn't know I was awake and not asleep
"Lilac, it's time to wake up-" Elise stopped, probably because she was Aiden
"Sh, she is asleep." Aiden whispered to Elise
"Why are you in here with her?" Elise asked Aiden
"She had a bad dream last night, woke up screaming, so I came to comfort her, and she wouldn't let me go back to my room, so I stayed with her for the night." Aiden stated and I heard Elise sigh in relief
"You didn't do anything with her, did you?" Elise asked suspiciously
"No!"
"Okay, good.Well breakfast is ready so when she wakes up, both of you head downstairs." I heard Elise leave the room.After lying there for 10 minutes I stirred, signaling Aiden I was awake
"Morning Lilly." I slowly opened my eyes and sat up, rubbing my eyes
"Morning..." I said in a soft and tired voice
"My Mom told me that breakfast is ready, so we better get down there enforce it gets cold." I groaned and fell back onto the bed, snuggling into the blankets.He laughed at me
"Come on, you have to get up some time." I sent him a playful death glare.He sighed
"Fine then, I will just..." I was picked up and I squeaked like a mouse
"... Carry you." He finished and headed down stairs.I grumbled and let my eyes shut
"Let me guess, she wouldn't get up?" I heard Mason ask
"What are you doing here?"
"Parents are outta town and me and Jasmine don't know how to cook." When I looked up at Aiden, he was rolling his eyes at him
"You two are definitely something." Aiden stated and Mason shrugged.Aiden sat me down on a stool and I laid my head on the island
"How is she this tired?" Jasmine asked, poking my cheek
"Don't know." Aiden shrugged.Let's just say I had a long day yesterday
"How about we all go out on a run today?" I stiffened, shit
"That sounds good."
"Oh, oh!Can I come to!" Mela asked, eating some toast.Elise laughed at her
"When you're older you can go out on a run." Mela pouted, crossing her arms cutely.I was freaking out in the inside, I can't shift into wolf form, or I would be discovered
"Okay great, we will head out after lunch." I need to think of a plan, and fast.
