"Dad." I catch his attention from counting the money he earned so far this week from doing regular jobs
"Yeah?" He answered, still counting the money in his hands and in front of him on the wooden table
"Sandy is becoming restless at nights, she needs- we need to see him or at least smell him Daddy." I told him, Sandy nodding in agreement.He sighed, and stopped counting the money, placing it down on the table.He turned to me and grabbed arms gently
"I know, but we can't chance it, the entire world finding you are alive will be to much for everyone to handle.I know you love this boy and want to see him again, but it's to risky because if you're discovere-"
"I will be executed by the bad rogues who are after me." I finished for him
"Yes, and we don't want that." He told me and sighed
"I wish I could go back to the castle as well to see Maya, Maria, and Lee but I just can't, everyone thinks I'm dead." He told me and I nodded, holding back tears.Then I remembered something.Flower
"Dad, what was the flower's name you taught me in herbology that's able to mask your scent and make a new one?" I asked him and he stared at me
"Utoim, why?" He asked me and I gave him a devilish smile
"Oh no, you made a plan didn't you?" He asked me and I nodded
"I will need some hair dye when you go into town, make sure it's temporary too.While I go and find Utoim." I stated and he sighed
"It sounds like a good plan, but, should we risk it?" He asked me and I nodded
"Yes we should, we have been hiding for to damn long."
(Time Skip to a day later)
Aiden's POV
Me and Mason was on patrol around the walls, making small talk with each other and waiting for Saturday to come.Mason crossed his arms and stopped, staring out in the woods.I stopped as well, looking back at him
"She should be back by now." Mason muttered to himself in worry
"It's only been a hour since she left for town to get some medicine for Elijah." I stated
"But I can't help but worry, she is my mate and only to make it worse a human, she isn't that strong to fight off something after her." He told me, looking back right at me
"You sent a guard with her right?" He nodded
"Who was it?" I asked him and before he could reply we heard a scream.Chills went down my body and we jumped off of the wall, running full speed ahead.Another scream was heard as we neared closer.Mason growled when he heard her scream for the 2nd time, his eyes growing dark.We kept on running when a wonderful scent hit me.I stopped for a second and smelled, it was coming in the direction of where Mason's mate, Jasmine, is.I quickly went back to following Mason and soon we came to see Jasmine along with a black haired girl backing away from a wendigo, the black haired girl was in front of Jasmine who looked terrified.Me and Mason didn't glance twice at the wendigo before ripping him apart while the girls watched, wide eyed.When the wendigo was dead I heard a gun clock and turned to see the black haired girl holding it up towards me and Mason
"Jasmine, are you okay?" Mason asked Jasmine breathlessly.She slowly nodded
"What's going on here?" I heard Dad say from behind us
"Wendigo tried to attack Jasmine and-" I glanced over at the black haired girl who seemed she didn't trust us, I don't blame her, me and Mason just ripped a Wendigo apart without a sweat
