"We are leaving for a friends wedding this weekend in Vegas" my mom begins, her voice raiding in anticipation

"Really? So we're leaving on Friday?" so glad to be away from Chace this weekend

"Honey, I meant me and your Dad" she pointed to her and Dad

"I'm not coming?"

"Sorry sweetie but we'll let you come next time" Dad gives my shoulder a comforting squeeze

"Fine, you too just enjoy the wedding" utterly relief from my enthusiastic response

"Thank you! You are the sweetest" mom beams in excitement and embraces me in a strong hug "we'll just bring you back a shirt or something"

"That would be fantastic" I try to hide the sarcasm.

"And I already asked Mrs. Wayne to come and check on you while we're away" she explains

"I'm not a kid any more mom, I can take care of myself" I assure them

"Don't tell me that, remember when you had that flu a couple of months ago. You were more than a whiny kid" she really don't trust me that much after that

"Like you've said it was months ago" I pointed out

"Cassie, it's still better than an adult is still watching over you" Dad taking my hand

"Okay, fine" I surrendered

"Your mom and I will be leaving tomorrow afternoon" he reminds me

"I'll be here to send you two off"

"That would be great"

"Bye!" I waved them goodbye as the car drove away, I was about to close the door when someone shouted.

"Wait!" I peaked out my head through the door and I saw Chace running towards the house. I immediately closed the door but he sneaks in his foot not letting the door close. "Hep! Hep!"

"Go away, Chace!" I push the door to close

"Wait! Wait! Ouch" he said pushing it open, he was really strong that he won

"What is it now?" I said clearly informing him that I don't want to see him

"You've been avoiding me these past 2 days" he said leaning on the door

After I realized that I was falling for this Jerk, I tried to avoid him every chance that I get.

"Because your face annoys me"

"Then you were really avoiding me" he snaps his finger in his correct thoughts "Why?"

"I don't want to talk about it right now so can you please leave!" I pointed out the door, gesturing for him to leave

"Is it that time of the month again?"

"LEAVE!" I pushed him out the door but he turned and entered instead

"Nope, No can do!" He shook his head, sitting on the sofa with feet resting on the table

"What do you mean by no can do?" I have my hand on my waist

"Mom said that I should look after you for she has a thing to attend to with my little sister" he explains, searching for the remote control

"I can handle myself, you can go home now"

"Sorry" singing it in a tone from Justin Bieber's song

"Okay, how can I get rid of you? A beer?" I offered him
