Off to Goa

Bandana's POV

Abhay Banna shook his head fastly. "Bandana...no no no, please no. You know that I love you, right?" He asked. "But I don't" I said with a smile. He folded his hands and was about to say something when Manjot came. "Kya ho raha hai?" He asked.

"Namaste kar raha hu, ham gym ke andar jaenge na ab, to namaste kar raha tha" Abhay Banna said. I chuckled.

"Okay Bandana, ham chalte hai" Manjot said. I nodded. They turned and started leaving. I was standing there, looking at Manjot when he suddenly turned and came to me.

"Arey haan, shaam ko me ghar aaunga, kucch baat karni hai" He said. "Mujhse?" I asked. "Haan, zaruri baat hai, ghar par hi rehna" He said leaving.

What was it? What did he want to talk about? He was looking serious. Oh God. I hope it's something good.

I was getting so restless.

"Abey thodi der me aa jaega, pata chal jaega fir. Shaanti se beth ab" Sameeksha said.

"Yaar...woh serious tha. Pata nhi kya baat karni hai. Yaar kya baat hogi? Tu pata lagwa na!" I said to her.

"Me uski personal secretary hu jo pata lagvau?" She asked. "Sameeksha you're good-for-nothing" I said. She looked at me angrily.

"Abhi to dono saathme ho bhi nhi aur me good-for-nothing ho geyi! Relationship me aaoge to pata nhi kya kya hoga" She said.

"Yaar already tension me hu" I said helpless. I know she didn't like him, but come on, I needed her support.

I heard Maa calling me. I ran downstairs and saw Manjot sitting on the couch.

I slowly went to him. He stood up. "Room me jaake baat kare if you don't mind?" He asked politely.

He's scaring me. I nodded and we went in my room. Sameeksha wasn't there.

"Kya hua hai?" I asked. He made me sit on the bed. "Bandana" He said and sat next to me, "me kal subhah jaa raha hu" He said. My heart started racing.

"Kaha...jaa rahe ho?" I asked, "Goa" he replied. "Par...kyu? Kitne time ke lie? Kab aaoge?" I asked. I wanted to know everything.

"Match hai. Bas kucch dino ke lie jaa raha hu. Jaldi aa jaunga" He replied calmly.

I kept quiet and lowered my gaze.

That silence was awkward.

"Gharwalo ko pata tha. Socha jaane se pehle tumse milke jau...tumhe batana zaruri laga" He said. I smiled a bit. At least I know that I'm important to him.

"Par Abhay Banna ne to bataya hi nhi esa kucch" I asked, "woh nhi aa raha, sirf me khel raha hu, uski team alag hai" He replied.

"20 overs?" I asked. He nodded. "Haash, jaldi khatam ho jaega" I took a sigh of relief.

"Umm sorry" I bit my lower lip, he chuckled. "Subhah kab nikalna hai?" I asked. "6am flight hai" He said.

"Par aaoge kitne dino me?" I asked. "Ek week to lagega hi" He said. I widened my eyes. "Ek week????" I asked, "yeh to boht zada hai!" I whined. "Ab itna hai to hai" He said. I hummed.

"Accha me chalu ab? Subhah jaldi uthna bhi hoga" He asked. I nodded but didn't say anything. He stood up to leave but I held his hand.

I stood up, "I'll miss you" I said. He pulled me closer and wrapped his arms around me. I rested my head on his chest, "I'll miss you too, jaldi aaunga" He said.

I didn't want to leave him. That hug was just so good and so comfortable. It was something I never felt before. I was feeling so protected in him arms.

He tightened the hug and we stayed like that for a couple of moments. "Okay bye" He said breaking the hug and turning to leave. This time I didn't stop him.

I was standing there looking at the floor.

Sameeksha came. "Kya bolke gaya?" She asked. "Ek week ke lie Goa jaa raha" I said sitting on my bed.

"Waah! Yaha tu uspe mare jaa rhi, aur yeh aish karne Goa jaa raha!" She said. I looked at her, "match hai uska" I said. "Whatever" She said.

"Ab?" She asked. I looked at my phone. "Ab phone banane wale ko Bhagwaan swarg de" I said. She chuckled. "Kabootar to hai nhi, mera phone kaam aaega ab, vese bhi yeh system faster hai" I said. She nodded.
