Chapter 7

     Amira squirmed, twisted and turned on her bed as she thought of the events from earlier.
When Hassan had asked her to be his at the parking lot she practically ran out of the car, not knowing what to say. She at least needed advice from Hasna before making any decision.

     "Can you stop shaking this bunk? Just say yes already and stop squirming like a jelly fish." Hasna hissed.

     "How can I say yes? He'll think I'm cheap and desperate." Amira sighed.

     "Well aren't you desperate?" Hasna rolled her eyes.

     "What?" Amira jumped up, ready to hit Hasna playfully.

     "Please, you know it. Just say yes." Hasna sighed.

     "Okay so do I call him to say yes or?" Amira asked excitedly.

     "I don't know, maybe meet somewhere?" Hasna suggested.

     "No no, I'll just text him."

     "Whatever floats your boat."

     Amira picked up her phone and hesitated for a while before sending the message.

     'Yes.' - Amira.

     His reply came in almost immediately.

     'Yes what?' - Hassan.

     'You asked me to be yours, so yes. I'll be yours.' - Amira.

     'Are you for real?' - Hassan.

     'Do you want me to change my mind?' - Amira.

     'No, no! Thank you so much. I promise you won't regret it.' - Hassan.

     'I better not regret it.' - Amira.

     'Trust me.' - Hassan.

     'I do. You don't mind the age difference right?' - Amira.

     'Hell no! Why would I?' - Hassan.

     'That's all I wanted to know.' - Amira.

     'So, when are we going on our first date?' - Hassan.

     'What about the others we've been on?' - Amira.

     'It wasn't official then.' - Hassan.

     'Oh and now it is?' - Amira.

     'Of course B.' - Hassan.

     'Haha, well...I'll chat with you later, I have something to do.' - Amira.

     'What's that?' - Hassan.

     'Nothing, bye bye.' - Amira.

     'Ha! Talk later?' - Hassan.

     'If I'm not busy, yeah.' - Amira.

     'Sure, I'll call you.' - Hassan.

     Amira ignored his last message and gave her phone to Hasna to go through the conversations.

     "This man better wife you or else I'll cut his head off." Hasna said when she was done.
