chapter twenty one.

the days were winding down at hogwarts as it was almost time for the much anticipated christmas vacation. students ran around the corridors, shivering from the cold, speaking about their individual plans for the holidays. whether students were going home to their families or staying in the castle, it was a very joyous occasion.

that was, for everyone, accept for amelia. amelia did not like holidays. no matter where she was or who she was with, she always felt alone. ever since her parents died, she has spent every christmas and new year's alone. amelia tried to ignore the holiday as much as possible, although that was very difficult when everyone was talking about it constantly.
