Chapter 21:

Lilly:

I started opening presents, everyone was sitting near where I was.

Logan came up to me and handed me a blue box.

When I opened it I saw a blue hoodie.

"Thank you." I said hugging her.

I got a bunch of other gifts as well.

Anna got me some Linkin park shirts, his parents got me a trip for two the islands where they have a beach house.

Cara got me well, let's just say I can only were it when Derek and I are alone. and someone need la to tell Victoria her secrets out.

"There's one last gift." Derek said and held a a green bag.

I opened the bag and saw a green onsie for an infant that said "my dads top dog" in white letters.

"I thought you said you weren't a dog." I giggled. remembering when we first me I called him an oversized dog.

"Well i couldn't find one that said wolf so I went with dog." he pecked my lips.

"I love it. thank you, everyone thank you so much."

After the surprise party we went back to the mansion and I pulled my hair into a messy bun. then change into pj shorts and one of Derek's sweatshirts.

I didn't know how late it was, but I was awaken by a knock.

When I looked over, Derek was fast asleep.

I heard the knock again.

"Derek." I whispered, shaking him. he didn't move,

"Derek." I said again.

"Yeah, hold on." he mumbled in his sleep.

I quietly slipped from under the covers and listened for the noise.

I jumped when I heard how close it was.

Suddenly I saw a figure walk by the balcony doors on the outside.

I started walking towards the door and looked out the window to see a woman in a white dress and she had long brown hair. her back was turned to me.

I was apprehensive about going in the balcony but I couldn't stop myself.

When I pushed the doors open she turned to me and smiled. her eyes were the same color as mine, she looked vaguely familiar.

"Hello sweetheart. I've missed you." she said sweetly.

Then, at that moment I knew who she was.

"M-mom. is it- is it really you?"

She lightly laughed then spoke. "yes, it's me."

"Oh my- mom it's been so long. am I dreaming? Am I dying? And I dead?" I rambled.

"Calm down. no, you're not dead and your surely are not dying."

"Then how can I see you?"

"I made myself visible. Oh and I forgot to Congratulate you about the baby. any names?"

"Not yet. but you can't even tell I'm pregnant."

"Just wait." she laughed.

"I don't mean to sound rude but why are you here?"

"Well I've missed you, actually we both have."

"We?"

"Your father of course."

Suddenly a tall man appeared beside her and I instantly I knew it was my dickhead of a dad. he was dressed in an all white suite.

"I'm surprised you made it into heaven. you should be in hell." I spat.

"I know. but I was forgiven."

Then he whispered something in my mom hear and the nodded then he was gone.

"Mom I've missed you so much." I said.

"Then come back with me."

"What?!" I almost shouted.

Suddenly the cold wind began to blow and I was freezing.

"Come back with me and we can all be a family again."

When I looked into her eyes, they were no longer green, they were pitch black and I felt myself stiffen. I couldn't control my own self.

She looks almost, devilish.

She looked over the balcony and back to me then whispered, "jump."

I felt myself walking toward the end of the balcony, I was screaming for help in my mind.

I climbed over the front of the railing and stood with my back facing the door.

Below was concrete and next to it was a pool.

"Do it Lilly! Jump! NOW!" She screamed. but I didn't want to let go.

I didn't want to die. not yet at least.

"LILLY!" I heard someone scream and my mom was gone.

"Lilly don't move." it was Derek.

I felt him getting closer to me.

I felt him grab my hand.

"Okay, turn around slowly." he said.

I slowly started to turn, only to see him shirtless and in sweatpants.

"Derek, I'm scared." I whispered.

"I know. trust me. so am i."

Right when I went to lift my foot up I slipped and I was dangling over the railing, Derek holding in right to my hand.

"Derek!" I screamed and started crying.

"I don't want to die."

"I won't let go." he shouted.

My hand started slipping out of his slowly.

Suddenly I felt my self falling and Derek screaming.

"NO! Lilly!" He shouted.

I felt my body hit something, then everything went completely black.

I felt cold. dead. useless.

So this is death. so be it.

I know my last chapter sucked, so hopefully these next chapters will make up for it. Hopefully.
