Chapter 6:

Lilly pov:

"Alpha, there a man at the door. asking for Lilly."

I looked to Derek and gave him a confused look. who on earth would be looking for me?

Derek and I walked to the top of the stairs and instantly I recognized the voice.

"It's him, it's my dad. You can't let him know I'm here."

"Go to the bedroom and lock the door don't opened it until I come to the door."

I nodded an ran into the bedroom. I Derek's voice as he was talking.

"I'm sorry sir, haven't seen her but I'll keep my eyes out."

Moments later I heard Derek knocking at the door, when I opened the door I hugged Derek as tight as could.

"He's gone." Derek said.

"Thank you. I can't go back to my dad, I refuse to go through that he'll again."

"Don't worry, no ones taking you away from me." He said.

"What if he comes back?" I asked worriedly.

"He won't. Two of the guards escorted him out." He said kissing my forehead

"I just need some sleep." I said.

"Okay, there's going to be another family gathering tomorrow at lunch. everyone wants to see you again."

I nodded them climbed in bed, suddenly the lights turned off and the the bed dipped beside me. soon I saw was in Derek's warm embrace against his chest.

"Lilly, wake up we only have an hour to get ready."

I got up to shower and brushed my teeth. after I straightened my hair and put in one if my white sundresses and brown sandals.

When I walked downstairs I saw greeted by everyone.

"Melanie, frank I missed you." I said when I saw his parents.

"We missed you too sweetheart." They said as I hugged them both.

As the day went on I didn't get to talk to Derek as much as I was hoping.

As the sun was started the set I slipped outside by the pool to catch my breath.

"You needed a break too huh?" I turned and saw a make about my age with black hair and green blue eyes. he had a wolf tattoo on his forearm.

"Who are you?"

"Landon. im Derek's cousin and Cara's brother."

"Oh, I'm Lilly it's nice to meet you."

"Same to you." He said taking a sip of beer, I just noticed he had a bottle in his hand.

He was starting to sway.

"How many have you had?" I asked.

"About 1...4...3.. uh about 6." he said chuckling.

"We need to get you inside."

I made him wrap his arm about my should and I held on to his waist.

"Come one, walk." I said and he started chuckling.

"What are you doing?" A voice shouted.

"Hey get your hand off my mate." he said, Derek.

"No stop Derek. he's drunk and I'm getting him to a room or somewhere he can lay down."  

"S-sorry alpha, but you look weird." Landon rambled.

"Leave him on the ground or-"

I cut him off not afraid.

"Or what Derek?"

"Sleep on the couch."

"Okay I will gladly. now move."

I Walked inside and Cara was just about to leave.

"Cara take this one with you."

Moments later everyone was gone.

Luke and logan had already gone to bed and so did dave and Anna.

I put my pjs on and grabbed a blanket and pillow and went downstairs.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door.
