Chapter 29:

As the day went on, everyone else was showing up for melodys birthday. I still can't believe she'll be five.

I was Melanie and frank and instantly saw melody run up to them.

"Nanny! Papa!" He giggled and hugged them both. Frank picked her up.

I walked over to them and gave them both a hug.

"How you doing sweetheart?" Melanie asked me.

"Still hanging in there."

"Is that a present for me?" Melody asked pointing to a box with blue wrapping paper.

"Yes it is." frank said.

"Sweetie will you go out it with the rest of your gifts please?"

"Y-yes mommy."

When she was out of sight frank smiled.

"She's growing up so fast. I wish Derek was here for all of this." frank said.

"So do i."

"So have you been practicing your magic?" Melanie asked trying to lighten the mood.

"Yes I have. I gotten much better. watch."

I held out both my palms and instantly to glasses of wine appeared in my hands.

"There you go." I handed them the wine.

"You are getting better."

Finally melody was ready for cake so we all gathered around and started to sing.

"Make a wish baby girl." I said smiling.

She closed her eyes then blew out the candle.

"What did you wish for?"

"Mommy I cant tell. it I w-won't come true."

We all sat there eating cupcakes. the whole pack was my family and I loved them all.

"M-mommy look!" Melody giggled.

She had icing all over her lips and cheeks.

When she finished eating her cupcake I found a rag and wiped off her face.

"M-mommy can I opened presents now?"

"Sure sweetie." I said.

All the cupcakes were devoured. well that's what's happened when you have a house full of werewolves.

We all sat around her while she opened her presents.

The first one she opened was from Anna and dave.

"Look m-mommy!" She said showing me her new doll.

"It looks just like you."

"T-t-thank you." she said hugging then.

The next one was from Joshua, his wife Emily and their kids Carson and Paige.

"Oh my g-gosh. I-i-i love it. t-thank you."

It was a large stuffed teddy bear. another one to add to her collection of stuffed animals.

Next was Logan and Luke.

"Thank you! It s-so cool. I love it."

The gift was a doll house.

Everyone else gave her her gifts and I was going last.

"I left you'd upstairs princess I'll be right back."

"Okay mommy." she said jumping knit Logan's Lap.
