Emerald's POV

Chase has been coming closure to me now that I said I Love You Too. I have not told Jace. I dont know how will I face him.
Dumb just say it. He should understand! Chase is our mate and I am not doing two at a time!

My wolf again. Ahh .....lets just get over with it. He will get it right?

I am so......frustrated.

"Hey baby!! Why you seem so frustrated?"

Wow name the demon and hes here.....well Jace is not demon. I chuckle at that.

"Just a bit nervous about fight" i lied. He being not my true mate cant sense it if I am a great lier which fortunately I am.

He nodded and left. I dont know how will I tell him that Chase is winning me back. I am trying so hard to not like him if not possible hate.

I get up , dust my pants and go inside. I change into my sports bra and cotton black shorts. I am going for a run. It will help clear my head.

I put my head in high ponytail.

I sped off with slow running alnost a jog. But thats okay. On the way I start running faster so much that my pace right now is like a wind.

I went deeper into territory.  Well actually I was almost on the out of my territory. I saw a lake. I was sleepy now. But for my gaurd J changed into my wolf. When we are outside our wolves can always sense someone even if we are deep asleep. My white fur shining from the beams coming from trees. I slump down on the bank of lake. I was asleep in an instant.

My ears perked up. I can sense someone. Someone who smells like a rotten meat.  Ewwww!!! Take him away I cant tolerate him. But hr was coming near. Wait? None of our pack members smell or my former pack smelled like this . Is that a rogue?
Wow finally lady got it right!!!

I can sense Anna sarcasm. I quickly turn around. Surely it was a brown wolf with red eyes. Meaning a rogue. I lunged at him. He dodged me. Hmmm smart wolfy. I growled.

It was a leave-this-territory -you-may-live-then growl. And he growled back.  Which I understood cause he meant "I am not leaving without a white wolf"

And furious as hell I lunged again. He was under me but in few seconds he was above me. I clawed at him . Being under is not always a disadvantage you know how to play right. I clawed at his insides. And I interlocked our legs so he wouldnt move. When he was whithering in pain I moved to rip his throat out but just then someone hit my head thrice. I could feel the blood dripping and soon enough I blacked out.

Chase's POV.

I think I am winning Emerald back. How could I reject her when theres nothing to hate about her? Suddenly a pain shot through my head. Fierce one that I was down on my knees.Someone barges in my office.

"Alpha we had rogues sighting!" He said panting.

"Th-they had injured our north side patrollers"

Oh no......
Jason meet me outside . Drake you too. There had been rogue sightings.  Drake was my Gama.

We reached there and hell sure my two patrollers had dislocated limbs. I sent them to pack doctor.

We looked around for unrecognizble scents if they had went any further.  And the trail was little deeper into our territory when I saw blood.

A lot of blood. The smell was so overwhelming. But this was not the time to drool cause it was .....
Blood of my mate.

"MATE!! THEY TOOK HER" I shook with anger when Jason stopped me. He and Drake held me back. Tears rolled down.

"We will get her. We will kill that bastards but we need plan. " Jason said. I nodded . I badly wa.ted to chase them right now but it will be dangerous for me and my pack .

"We need a plan. What if we went there right now and couldnt save her but instead got ourselves killed?" He was right. It would be useless.  I would die happily for her but only after ensuring her saftey .
I am coming my little mate. Just wait a little
