▶You and Me ~ Lifehouse

Taehyung left after that.

Jungkook was curious about him. Tae was famous but also, more lonely than he let on. It wasn't because he was an entitled, egoistic or bad person. He was just so guarded. Even his crying was controlled. It had taken Tae only a couple minutes to recover from that nightmare.

Jungkook wanted to be his friend. It was probably the empath in him or the professional psychologist, but he had seen people like Tae before and he knew all they needed was an ear to listen. Maybe he could do something nice for him.

Jimin's idea of a homemade dinner invitation didn't sound too bad now.

Jimin and Yoongi woke when Jungkook was ready for class and about to leave. He told them to take their sweet time and pull the door shut when leaving.

"Wash my damn sheets if you decide to bump uglies on it!" He yelled as he left.

There was a thud on the door. He chuckled. Jimin probably threw a slipper at him.

His classes went by smoothly. His professors were always impressed by him because he was a hardworker and exceptional at his assignments.

Today, clinic was slow. The doctor was out and there weren't many phone counseling sessions too. So, he took out a blank printer paper and a pencil and began to sketch.

The first thing he thought of was Taehyung. Funny, how he hadn't known the model even existed and now he couldn't get him out of his head.

It was a rough outline but it was a man with Taehyung's fluffy hair, sitting at a piano, which was floating in the clouds. A crescent moon and stars in the background, the notes of the song falling down like rain. The man had angel wings.

Jungkook was happy with it. It had been so long since he had created any kind of drawing.

His shift ended and he left, the drawing safely tucked in his folder. He pulled his phone out, deciding to text Tae and invite him over for dinner. Oh, wait, he still didn't have his number.

He stopped at a mart and picked up some veggies, noodles, butter and garlic bread and eggs. It was a bit tricky, managing it on his motorcycle. Two of the eggs broke.

Eventually, he managed to make it upstairs. It was 830, he had come back earlier than usual. He freshened, changed and set to work.

Jungkook was a natural in the kitchen, something that his mum was proud of. He liked to cook and had learned at an early age. It was almost ten when the food was done. He set up his study table with plates and all, hoping it didn't look too much like a date.

He didn't have any alcohol so he settled for water. Simmering the stove, he went upstairs to invite his new friend.

He rang the bell and the door opened quickly. Taehyung already had company but the men were putting on their coats. Jungkook bowed politely and they nodded before they silently left.

Taehyung closed the door behind them and sighed. He seemed a bit tense.

"They looked intimidating!"

"They are. One of them was my manager."

"Everything okay, yeah? Workwise?"

Taehyung blinked and then nodded.

"Absolutely. Anyhoo, what brings you here? I thought you'd be asleep, you've been up early today."

"Ah, well I was cooking and accidentally made a lot of food. If you haven't already eaten, care to join me?"
