The reconciliation with the love of his life eased Jungkook's conscience, which helped him focus on college and work again. His mood was all giddy and lovestruck.
It made Jimin laugh at the hyperactive bunny. He decided to talk to Taehyung too and called him on a Saturday, when Jungkook was yet to return from work.
Taehyung was glad to know Jimin was at the penthouse. He didn't mind it too much, now that Kook had told him what happened.
He understood his need to keep an eye on Jimin, especially since Jimin's parents weren't aware about the incident at all.
Listening to Jimin say sorry repeatedly broke Tae's heart. He felt so guilty.
"Jiminie.... please don't apologise. I let my insecurities get the best of me. I shouldn't have... I'm sorry. You are in so much pain and yet, I acted selfishly."
"B-but...!"
"Chim, it's okay. But, please - please - don't do anything like that again. Ever. Jungkook needs your presence to be happy. He loves you. So if not for yourself, please think about him."
"Tae..." Jimin sighed, looking at him through the screen.
Taehyung smiled.
"It's alright Chim. I have no hard feelings towards you, I promise. Just, take care of Kookie too, please. Especially after Jin and Joon Hyung leave tomorrow. Kookie will pretend to be strong and unbothered, but I know him."
Jimin nodded, wiping the few tears that had escaped. He smiled too, feeling his heart at ease.
"Take care of yourself, Tae. Jungkook needs you too."
Tae nodded. Jimin fell back on the sofa, feeling quite relaxed now.
"Anyway TaeTae, how's Paris? I'm literally so jealous of you. Have you met Nicolas Ghesquiére yet?!"
Taehyung laughed at the pouty mochi.
"Nah, not yet. The actual events start next week so I'll see him then. And Paris is lovely. It's a tad cold but not as cold as Seoul. My coworkers are amazing!"
They both talked for an hour, Taehyung filled him in with everything. Jimin listened excitedly, taking tips about the latest trends and inside ideas about the biggest brands. After all, it would help him in Yoongi's mother's atelier.
Jungkook came home to find his two loved ones giggling on FaceTime. Chim was now eating ice cream and listening to Tae's stories. The sight warmed Jungkook up tremendously.
"Hi babe!"
Jungkook said happily to Tae, falling next to Jimin. Taehyung's eyes lit up and he waved excitedly.
"Hi darling! How was your day, my baby star?"
"Eh it was alright, the usual. How come you're up so early?"
"Ah, I have an early shoot. I'm actually supposed to be getting ready but I figured I could afford to be a few minutes late as Minseok is giving me a ride."
