Manik had a restless night, exhaustion visible in his solemn gaze as he watched the luggage bags standing lonely at the side of the room.

Although he understands she doesn't mean any ominous to his sister, hell if he does not acknowledge the fact of her promising his sister revealing it to him, but hasn't she also promised him not to keep things from him?

Are promises made to others more important than the ones she made with him?

Is he not her primacy?

Knuckles gingerly brushing over her flush cheeks where tears from the last night had trailed down from her eyes after having his bash, a little crease set between her eyebrows having the feathery caress on her face.

Frown adorning on her forehead, Manik drew his hands back abruptly after watching her flutter her eyes open and set at him the first thing in the morning.

None but their eyes spoke, his stoic while her sombre, until the episode of last night relapsed making her scurry to sit whilst snapping his oblivion along.

Her unnerve bearing while tucking the wild locks of a labyrinth of her hair, she pulled up her hair into a bun under his scrutiny until she found him getting up and walking to the almirah.

Her peripheral sight watch his arm hoisting and reaching for the trolley bag before he carried it down and kept it on the bed while padding back to get his clothes out "We have a flight to catch in three hours. Hurry and get ready."

"I think we should cancel-"

'-I have already paid half the amount on the package for this trip which is non-refundable."

Frowning over him, her eyes taking him packing and grumbling under his breath in annoyance and his struggle of finding his clothes, Nandini eventually chose to step in "I have already done your packing. The black one is yours."

He followed his gaze where she jutted her chin, his frown dissolving in recognition of his luggage bag while a sheepish demeanour married his face feeling all his annoyance tumbling in vain.

He is hopeless without her, he conceded to his conscience as flipping shut the one he took out to pack, his eyes longed as it trailed behind her until she dispersed to get ready as told.

He was planning to stay a little mad at her, but with his uselessness, he now supposes can he keep up with his pretence.

Awarding himself a disbelief grunt, his fingers running through his tousled hair, he grabbed his laptop to go through his mail in the meanwhile when a knock on the door bargained his attention "Bhaiya."

Meera's presence is all that Manik didn't wanted to start his day with. He was miffed, hence, he wanted to stay thus until she figures out her way and chooses what she aims to do ahead.

Her timid pad closing to him has Manik clench his jaw, while she fiddled with her finger before stuttering "I know... what I did has caused you all disappointment. But bhaiya, bhabhi is not at fault. Don't punish her for my offence. She was tied with my promise. So none is her fault."

Blinking subtly, he sat paying not much heed to her, let alone spare her a glance until she vocalized "Bhaiya, I love Krish."

His eyes snapped up to her in astonishment, her upfront confession having him seething in fury as she shuddered "I-I know my negligence towards my studies is not condonable. All I want to say is... I'll do my best and score well. But...don't take my right to love."

Shuddering in utmost rage, his breathing hoarse, he rebuked "You can't be that dumb, Meera to reckon that boy has played you. Open your eyes and look out of your bubble."
