As I sat down to eat breakfast, I took out my purse to check my finances. To my dismay, I discovered that I had even less money than before, feeling a knot of worry tightening in my chest. It seemed like no matter how hard I tried to make ends meet, my funds continued to dwindle.

"I bet all my money will disappear in a week," I thought, a sense of resignation creeping over me. It felt like I was fighting a losing battle against the relentless tide of expenses.

With a heavy sigh, I pushed aside my financial concerns and focused on finishing my meal. But as I ate, the nagging worry persisted, casting a shadow over what should have been a simple breakfast.

"I don't even know how much is left in my bank account," I realized, a sense of helplessness washing over me. The uncertainty of my financial situation loomed large in my mind, casting a pall over the day ahead.

"Why is it so hard to find a part-time job?" I mused aloud, frustration seeping into my voice. It seemed like no matter how many applications I filled out or interviews I went on, I always seemed to come up short.

After breakfast, I got up and changed into my usual attire, ready to face another day of job hunting. As I made my way to the door, I glanced over at Yori, who was sitting quietly in the corner.

"Yori, I'm heading out," I said, offering him a small smile.

Yori looked at me and smiled back, but there was something in his expression that gave me pause. He didn't say anything; he didn't even blink. But in that moment, I couldn't shake the feeling that he wasn't happy about something. It was as if he could sense the turmoil brewing within me, even without me saying a word.

Shaking off the uneasy feeling, I stepped outside into the chilly morning air. As I walked, I couldn't help but notice how much colder it was than usual. Pulling my thin jacket tighter around me, I braced myself against the chill and continued on my way.

Despite the biting wind, I found myself growing warmer with each step I took. There was something invigorating about being out in the fresh air, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the city streets.

I looked around, scanning the storefronts for any signs of employment opportunities. But as luck would have it, every place I went to either wasn't hiring or required qualifications that I didn't possess.

Feeling disheartened, I continued to wander aimlessly, my thoughts consumed by the uncertainty of my future. It was then that I spotted a help-wanted sign in the window of a local cafe. Hope blossomed in my chest as I hurried inside, eager to inquire about the job opening.

But as I approached the counter, my hopes were dashed once again. The manager informed me that they had already filled the position, leaving me feeling defeated.

I sighed and turned to leave, my spirits sinking with each step I took. The cold had only grown more biting, and I found myself longing for the warmth of indoors.

That's when I spotted a cozy little cafe tucked away on a side street. The inviting glow of the interior beckoned me closer, and before I knew it, I was pushing open the door and stepping inside.

As I entered, the scent of freshly baked bread and sweet pastries enveloped me, wrapping around me like a warm embrace. The cozy atmosphere and friendly chatter of the patrons filled me with a sense of comfort and belonging.

To my surprise, as I looked around the cafe, I saw Luka sitting at a table in the corner. His presence caught me off guard, and for a moment, I hesitated, unsure of whether to approach him or not.

But curiosity got the better of me, and I made my way over to where he was sitting. As I approached, I couldn't help but feel a sense of apprehension, unsure of how he would react to seeing me.
