In Love! Again...

Chapter 15

I started counting the number of brown dots on the Roti I am about to eat, but unable to because of a volcano which is ready to burst in my head.

No one is talking too, making the silence even more dangerous for us. I glanced at three of them to only see everyone lost in their own thoughts.

"Say something!" I mumbled, looking at these three faces.

"We don't have anything to say." Karthik said, smiling at me, but it left when he saw my blank face.

"You both are BFF's right? Then talk to each other." I said, looking at Rohan.

Suddenly, Leela coughed hearing my words, making me frown at her while she is already frowning back at me. I gave her an expression asking 'What?' and she gave the same expression back.

"When did they become friends? I actually stopped a verbal fight between them the moment you stepped out of the hut." She said and this time my frown has increased.

"He said that." I said pointing towards Rohan.

"I was being sarcastic." He said, shaking his head.

"So that means not being able to be good at sarcasm is one of yours another flaw." I said understanding him.

"What do you mean by that?" he asked frowning.

"Poor you!" I replied sighing.

"What flaws do I have?" he asked again and this time little coldly.

"Many! I will tell them by passing of time." I replied and started eating, feeling content that at least these both are not friends, and I need not to think about that matter anymore.

Maybe both have that kind of mindset like Enemy's enemy is a friend and all. And all they both do is share the information between each other.

I patted myself in my mind for solving one point, but I know there are like millions of questions that are required to be solved. Again, silence consumed the hut making me groan silently.

"Look, if this is what we are going to be until the dinner is finished, then it is better for me to stay at the house. I am alone in that prison, and I am feeling alone here." I said only looking at Leela and started drinking water.

"I am pregnant!" She blurted out making me choke on the water.

Why is everyone ready to make me choke like this? Is there some murder plan for me going on? I reckoned completely ignoring her announcement.

"What?" Karthik shouted at her, and Leela fidgeted with her hands.

Now this looks just like an entertainment! I thought, leaning back and started having my food looking at both.

"I am pregnant!" she replied, looking back at him.

"Why didn't you tell me?" he asked, frowning and I can see lots of questions.

"I was just about to but then Di woke up who might have gone into shock if I announce it when we returned home. And then later I got angry at you for slipping the information." She replied and now there is some hurt appearing on Karthik's face.

"One minute break!" I said, stopping Karthik from saying anything.

I ignored their questioning looks and asked, "So, can I assume that you may have gotten hurt when I said I like karthik and want to marry him after returning from the hospital because of your hormones?"

"What?" She asked me confused along with karthik and their confused faces turned into realization after a few minutes, and she slowly nodded to my question.
