Clustering- Group ideas, start napping out the direction you want your story to go. Get a bunch of ideas and then weed through them to find out which ones you want to keep.
First Draft:
Fast- Don't worry about punctuation, spelling, grammar or whether your story is any good.
Get it down- Don't think about it, just write. Get words on paper.
Revision:
Structure- Begin to structure and shape your book. Look at the whole picture as a whole.
