I sighed at the comments of their new episode of Stray Kids. "Oh my gosh.. I don't even know why Jeongin is in Stray Kids. He's just trash" I muttered to myself making both of my fists clench. "Hey Y/n.. what you reading?" Jeongin popped out of no where over my shoulder reading the highlighted comment. I tried to hide it behind my back but it was too late.
"S-s-someone said that about me?" His eyes brimmed with tears making me starting to feel panic. "Shh it's ok" I said as I pulled him into a comforting hug. He gladly returned it and buried his face in the crook of my neck sending butterflies in my stomach. But, I threw that aside and focused on him.
"It's ok Jeonginie.. I'll help you and prove them wrong ok?" I softly patted his hair making him nod. "Ok Y/n.. Thank you" He said in my neck sending vibrations by his voice. "You're welcome" I smiled as he pulled away from me with a smile showing his braces.
~The Next Day~
"Ok Jeongin.. You're next mission is to sing School life am I correct?" I questioned him as I flipped through pages of the next mission intro and the song lyrics. "Ne..." He said quietly as he fiddled with the sleeves of his pink sweatshirt. "Ok.. This shouldn't be hard since you only have a couple of lines" I said trying to be as strict as possible in order for him to reach his goal.
"Ne.." He said once more. I got up from my seat and plunged in everything and the mic for him to start singing. "Here, just sing from the top and I'll correct you ok?" I rested my back onto the chair earning a nod from him. He sang the song until I heard a voice crack in the thang part. "Ok stop" I stopped the music and got up from my seat.
He sighed as he dropped the microphone from his lips and to his side. "Look I know you're trying but just try to use your head and your stomach at the high note ok?" (I don't know.. I don't teach singing I'm so sorry) He nod as he began singing it again. I could tell that he was trying to use everything I told him to but it didn't work.
"It's ok.. just do it again and you'll get it" He nodded again and continued to tried to sing that high note. While I was busy admiring his facial features, he finally hit the high note. "OMG! You did it!" I exclaimed as I hugged him really tight as he happily smiled. "Yay thank you so much Y/n" He said as he placed his arms around my waist hugging me back.
"You're welcome buddy.. anytime" I ruffled his hair making him chuckle. After practicing every single day.. it was time for the next mission. I warmed Jeongin up as his hair stylist finished with his hair. "You got this ok? Prove them haters wrong!" I put up a fist making him chuckle. "Ok Y/n.." He ruffled my hair making me chuckle. "Bye fighting!" I said as I left him getting ready. After all of the members got ready,it was time for them to preform.
His group went first and sang School Life. I went along with the song and also sang quietly to myself the lyrics. After the song was half way through it came Jeongin's high note. (IDK if he has the high note.. I forgot) He sang it and it correctly hit the high note making me pump my fist in the air.
I started dancing in my little area making all of the other staff laugh. I smiled at them as I looked at Jeongin who was proud at himself on hitting the high note. After the song was over the other groups came on and sang theirs. "Ok that's a cut!" The staff said as he stopped rolling the camera making me run towards Jeonginie giving him a big hug.
