I walk up to Nik's house and invite myself in. I find him in his art room painting and knock on the door frame.
"I came to check up on everyone." I tell him as I walk in and look at his artwork."So how are you?" I ask him. He doesn't answer so I turn around and flinch when he's In front of me.
"Im fine. Elijah left but told me to thank you on his behalf. Kol is in Denver and Rebekah is around. We're all fine thanks to you." He says as grabs my hand raises it to his lips and kisses it. I blush at the action and his words. I nod.
"Just wanted to check up on you." I say and turn to leave.
"We're mates." Nik says and I stop at the doorway. I slowly turn around to him.
"Yes." I tell him and he nods.
"What does that entail exactly?" He asks and I sigh.
"That we'll have a bond like no other. Whether that be lovers or friends. Mother or sister. Whatever you need me to be that's what I'll be for you." I explain to him and he nods.
"Im sorry. I should have told you the moment I found out. " I Huff." I should have left when my brother told me to." I tell him and he scoffs.
"I don't want you to leave." He says and I smile.
"Good." I say and walk away.
