End Game (Jake x Heeseung Fanfic)

Cute maneuver

The two boys were walking home in silence. Heeseung standing at a secure distance from Jake.

After walking like this for a little too long to handle, Jake let out a huge sigh, making Heeseung slightly jump.

"Hey," he breathed. "Come on, we look ridiculous."
Heeseung tried his best to ignore him.
"Heeseung, I won't do anything to you. I'll never touch you without your permission again, I promise."
Jake's voice sounded plaintive.
"I promise..."

Heeseung was about to act annoyed, sighed and finally accepted to get closer. But before he could start his little play...
Jake presented his hand, inviting him to hold it.

Heeseung stopped.

Jake stopped with him.

Heeseung stared at Jake's hand. Then at Jake.

He wasn't looking unfazed. He wasn't looking smug...

He was gently smiling.

Taken aback by this new vulnerable attitude, Heeseung had to make an effort to gain back his senses and finally start moving. He still rolled his eyes, before giving in to the hand holding.

To make things whole, Jake slid his fingers between Heeseung's, and they walked home like this. Looking like the cheesiest couple in town.
