Chapter Six: Food Fight

Today the Angel Grove Youth Center is hosting a Cultural Food Festival with all the profits going to fund construction of playground equipment at the local preschool and daycare center. The six of us were there to help.

Trini, Kim and I were holding plates of foods. The three of us saw Mr. Caplan, "How you doing girls and boy?" He asked. "Hi." Trini, Kim and I greeted back. "Wow, looks like the Cultural Food Festival is gonna be a great success, huh?" Mr. Caplan asked. Jason, Billy and Zack came over. "Yeah, we should raise a lot of money for the preschool and daycare center." Trini said. The rest of us agreed.

"Oh, what's this huh?" Mr. Caplan asked, seeing the plate of foods on Kim's plate. "Eh, eh, eh, Mr. Caplan." Kim said, bring the plate away. "You have to buy it first." I said. "And I believe that one's 20 dollars." Billy said, holding up a jar. "Well, I wasn't really hungry anyway." Mr. Caplan said, and left.

Ernie came over, "Hey, lets get back to work kids. The doors opening in ten minute." He told us. "This is gonna be an awesome food fair." Zack said. "Yeah, I just hope Rita isn't hungry for trouble today." Jason said. "Knowing her, she probably is." I said.

The others agreed, and we went back to working.

There are now a lot of people in the Youth Center. Two women dressing in Hawaiian clothing were doing a performance. Their performance came to an end, everyone applaud.

Billy, Trini and Zack were behind a table that was full of foods, they serve customers. Jason, Kim and I were behind a table, serving customers American foods. "Hey, try the good ol' American cheeseburger!" Kim called. "And with a side of French fires!" I added. "Come and get them, fresh off the grill!" Jason said.

Mr. Caplan came over, "This is just what I like to see." He said, "Good Healthy Community Spirit." He said. He left towards where Billy, Trini and Zack are.

Mr. Xeno came over, "Well, isn't this interesting." He said. Jason, Kim and I greeted him. "Hey, Mr. Xeno. Wanna try a cheeseburger?" Kim asked holding the plate. "With some fires?" I asked, putting some onto the plate. "They're fresh off the grill." Jason said. "They look splendid, I think I'll grab a plate." Mr. Xeno said, he grabs the plate from Kim and hands me the money. Jason, Kim and I thanked Mr. Xeno as he walked away.

A pie suddenly flew by, it knocks Mr. Caplan's wig out, and hits Skull. Some people laughed. "Food Fight!" Skull shouted. Everyone in the Youth Center starts throwing foods at each other. Jason, Billy, Zack, Trini, Kim and I went somewhere to hide away from the foods that were being thrown. Mr. Caplan got his wig out of the punch bowl.

Mr. Xeno was peacefully eating his plate of food, ignoring the food fight.

The six of us were in the middle.

"We gotta stop this!" Jason said. "And fast!" I said. "Yes, look at this mess! We gotta save the Food Fair!" Trini said. "Right!" Zack said. The six of us split up.

Jason grabbed a bundle of sausages, he went towards Bulk. He stood in front of Bulk, and starts swinging the sausages like a num-chuk. Bulk who was scared, dropped the pie onto himself. Jason laughed.

Skull was holding the punch bowl, and standing on the table. Kim and I went towards him. "Skull!" Kim called. Skull looks at us. "Put it down!" I demanded. "Oh, okay, sure, no problem." Skull said, he pretends to put it down then throw it at us. Kim and I got out of the way, and the punch got onto Bulk.
