[Hope Peter Madden]

Today Zack, Billy, Trini and I were at the Youth Center, we were getting donations from people to save the Youth Center.

I was wearing a beige jacket, white shirt, and brown pants.

Trini and I returned where the others are, with our cans of money. "Hey, Billy. How's it going with Ernie's reports?" Trini asked. "How is it?" I asked. Billy sighed. "From the looks of Ernie's reports, Ernie's last quarter operating expanses far exceeded his revenues." He told us.

"Trini?" Kim asked, confused about what Billy said. "He's broke." Trini simply translated. "How much do we have in donations?" She asked Zack. "About enough for a burger, and a shake." Zack said.

Kim and I looked over to Ernie, who is upset. "Poor, Ernie." Kim said. "I have never seen him so bummed out." She said. "Yeah." I said.

"Hey, guys." Jason greeted, he came over holding a puppy in his arms. "How's it going with Ernie?" He asked. Kim and I went towards the puppy, and start petting it. "Not so good." Trini said. "Where'd you get the puppy?" Zack asked. "He's so adorable." Kim said. "He's so cute. Yes, you are. Yes, you are." I cooed.

Jason chuckled at my reaction. "He followed me after school, he looked kinda lost, so I brought him in." He explained.

The six of us were doting the puppy that Jason brought.

"I thought your new poodle would like a new pick-me-up." Ernie told us. "Looks hungry." He said, and placed a small bowl of food onto the floor. "Thanks, Ernie." Jason thanked him, and puts the puppy onto the floor. The puppy begin eating.

"Well, I feel bad for the little guy." Ernie said. "Being away from home and everything. I mean my problems don't seem so terrible, all of a sudden." He said, and left to continue working. "Ernie is so sweet." Trini said. "We can't let the Juice Bar go out of business." She said. "You're right." Kim said. "You guys, there gotta be something we can do." She said.

The puppy stops eating, and look at us. "Hey, are you okay, little guy?" Jason asked, he pets the puppy. "Hey, probably has to go to the little puppy's room." Zack said. We laughed a bit.

"You're probably right. I should take him for a walk in the park." Jason said. "I'm going with you. I always wanted to take care of a puppy, even though it'll just be temporary." I said. "Hey, I'll go with you two, it's on my way home." Kim said, she starts packing her stuff.

Jason picks up the puppy, and I walk next to him. Kim was behind us. We walked passed Bulk and Skull, who were acting weird.

The three of us were now walking through the park, with the puppy. Kim was holding the puppy.

"I can't believe anybody will let such a sweetheart out of their sights." Kim said. "He's so cute." She said. "Adorable." I cooed. "Yeah, I know." Jason said.

The three of us stopped at a tree, and Kim puts the puppy down.

"I wonder what's wrong with him." Kim said, after the puppy hadn't done anything. "Is something wrong?" I asked. "What's the matter, boy? Huh? I know you don't have to go." Jason said, lightly petting the puppy. "You've been through every tree at the park." He said.

"Ouch!" Jason said, he stood up. "What's wrong?" I asked. "What? What's the matter? Are you all right?" Kim asked. "Something bit me." Jason told us.

"What's happening?" Jason asked, he kept scratching his arm. "Maybe you shouldn't scratch so much." Kim said. "I can't stop scratching, it's driving me crazy." Jason said. "Do you need some help?" I asked, reaching out towards him, but he stopped me.
