Chapter Thirty-Seven: Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger

The six of us were in the Command Center.

Zordon told us about Cyclopsis being one of Rita's most terrifying creation, and that it hasn't been brought out for over ten-thousand years. He also said that we need to destroy him, to release the people from Rita's dimensional trap.

Goldar is back to controlling Cyclopsis. Zordon continue telling us, that if we don't win this battle, Angel Grove and the entire world is doomed.

"We gotta stop that thing." Jason said. "Billy, what's the update on the Zords?" He asked. "Still not fully re-energized." Billy said. "They took a real beating in the fight against Cyclopsis." He told us. "The Zords still needs another twelve hours, to be at full power." Alpha informed.

"We can't wait that long." Jason said. "We'll take him at half power." He said. Billy turned towards Jason. "Jason, if we do that we risk doing serious damage to the Zords." He said. "We don't have a choice." Jason said. "I agree with Jason. We don't have much time, if we stall more, even more damage will only be done to the city." I said.

"There is too much danger in what you propose." Zordon said. We stood next to each other.

"Zordon, what about the city? We have to stop it from being destroyed." Kim said.
"Not to mention, rescuing all those people, trapped in Rita's dimensional vortex." Zack said.
"They're safe right now, but if we have to wait twelve hours, it may be too late." Trini said.

"What you are asking has never been tried before." Zordon said. "If the Zords' backups fail, you and everything in the Morphin' Grid can vanish, forever." He told us. "Do you really want to try this?" He asked.

"You know we do, Zordon." Jason said.
"Of course." I said.
"Yeah." Zack said.
"You got it." Trini said.
"Affirmative." Billy said.
Kim nodded.

"Coordinates are set, are you ready to warp to the city?" Alpha asked.

"We're ready, Alpha." Jason said.

"Good luck, and let the power protect you." Zordon said.

"It's Morphin' Time!" Jason shouted.

"Mastodon!"
"Pterodactyl!"
"Triceratops!"
"Saber-Tooth Tiger!"
"Stegosaurus!"
"Tyrannosaurus!"

The six of us Morphed, we got onto our Dinozords, and formed the Megazord Battle Mode.

"All right!" Jason shouted. "Let's do it!" We shouted.

Lokar appeared, he blew us away, and we fell. Cyclopsis got out it swords, and was about to attack us. But we rolled away, and attacked it, pushing it back.

We stood back up, and Cyclopsis attacked us. The left arm of our Megazord was cut off, and we tumbled onto a building, collapsing it.

"The Power Grid's down!" Billy exclaimed.
"Generators' offline!" Trini exclaimed.
"What are we gonna do?" I exclaimed.
"Switch to Emergency Power!" Jason said.
"We can't!" Kim exclaimed.
"Power Pods are down!" Zack exclaimed.

Cyclopsis steps on us, it as about to attack us. We braced ourselves, and attack it, pushing it back. We stood back up, but were knocked back down.

Our Megazord sparks. "Shields are down! One more hit, and we're finished!" Kim exclaimed. "We gotta do something, fast!" Zack said. "Right! I just hope the Dragonzord's powered up, enough to help!" Jason said, he got out his Dragon Flute and plays it.
