(A/N, I just need yall to be aware, I know Enid likes K-pop. I know it's a thing, I know nothing of K-pop. Taylor Swift is instead Enid's Obsession.)

Wednesday's POV:

Wednesday's running. Running for her mate's life. But she feels it, she knows it. She's too far. She could never make it in time.

Yoko's POV *5 minutes prior*

Yoko and Davina were swaying to the music in the living room of the Addams family house. The ball was finally in full swing.

The only problem was that Wednesday and Enid were still gone.

Yoko had begun to get worried, but Davina had suggested they'd got distracted by each other in the woods.

So she brushed it off.

That is..

Until she hears the howls.

Yoko's head snaps to the door. There was definitely something wrong.

"Davina, get everyone's attention." Yoko said, letting go of her girlfriend and running to the door. The howls only got louder.

Yoko heard Davina shouting at the guests' right as she was reaching the door.

"Everyone! Outside now!" Yoko screamed and threw the door open

The scene in front of them would have made any normal people freeze. Instead, the Addams grabbed swords, except Fester, who rubbed his palms together.

*The moment*

Enid saw the wolves coming out from the forest. She was not ready for a moment like this. She had only wolfed out twice.

She had to protect her her friends, her mate, and now her family.

She transformed without a second thought. Bones reshaping in painful ways. She felt none of it, though. Adrenaline was pumping through her veins already.

There were 20 wolves. They were stalking her, inching closer and circling. Soon, they were lunging, nipping at her back legs.

She was terrified. Never did she think she'd be facing her family and pack. Especially not on a night like this, and especially not without Wednesday by her side.

The loudest growl she'd ever produced came out. She wasn't going to let anything stop her from seeing Wednesday again.

Enid gave up control then, her wolf instincts full in control. Wyes turning a glowing yellow color, the world became sharper. Enid knew she wasn't prepared to do what needed to be done. But the Predator in her was.

Wolfie lunged at the smallest wolf first. Slashing across the muzzle, a whinper emitted from his mouth, but he did not back down.

The only problem with this fighting was that there were multiple threats around. All waiting for her to make a move to flank her.

That's when she heard it.

A battle cry?

Wolfie turned her head behind her, the first mistake.

What she saw before flying backward, though, was a saving grace.

Enid's friends and her family were racing into battle. Armed with swords, explosives, and judging by Morticia's hands, potions.

This was going to be an absolute showdown.

*Wednesday's POV*

Wednesday was getting closer. She could hear the battle ensuing. What sounded like explosions made her relax some. At least she knew her family was by Enid's side.
