After Mike was taken into the custody of the wolf council and Royal guard, there was a trial, because he had already been banished, he most likely would be put to death. At least that's what I thought.

In very rare instances a ritual would be performed and the wolf council and their trained operatives would interview and interrogate his wolf, to see who was responsible.

Most banished wolves have been known to take over for the protection of their human counterparts when they became Rogue. But Mike only had himself to blame.

After discovering the abuse and assault happened before he was a rogue. The council gave him the worst sentence imaginable and maybe it didn't seem like it but in the werewolf world, most wolves would prefer death. Taking a werewolf's canines literally meant there would no longer be a wolf and after seeing such a magnificent world and getting to be a part of that the sentence was adequate.

They knew that this was Mike's doing and only Mike's considering the sentence was very rarely handed down, they knew it was suitable for this particular case and I think they chose correctly.

After a lot of thought I had chosen not to bring up Antonia's name, considering I want my brother to be happy, I know what it's like to long for someone and not be able to have them. I could never put someone I love through that. Christian was a bit upset with my decision but eventually, he would come to understand.

I know it pisses a lot of people off but we have become so close, Antonia and I are now great friends, but I did bring up her mother and what she had done to my mother all those years ago.

Mike told the entire story to the wolf council, including the fact that Marie Harlow was also involved, and the truth about the mate bond with my father.

I wasn't quite ready to forgive my father for what he had done, he had chosen a woman over his own daughter, even though the council told me he wasn't at fault. A lot of people wonder how I can forgive Antonia so easily and not my father, but the difference is my father is my flesh and blood, he knew his part in my life after I lost my mother, he was all I had and I trusted him. Unfortunately, he ultimately broke my heart and let me down.

I knew it was bullshit.

The mate bond may not have been real, but I was still his daughter, and you always have a choice of how you treat someone.

So, there was nothing he could say to me that would make it right.

But, I did tell him that we could work at it.

I love my brother, Taylor, he's still amazing and one of my best friends. He struggled for a while with the thought of Antonia being his mate, but in the end, I told him I had forgiven her and the mate Bond eventually won.

Kyle has started to treat me differently since the truth came out about his mother. I wasn't prepared when I began to see a different side of Kyle and he wasn't that bad.

Kyle apologized, and I accepted.

Marie Harlow was ultimately exiled we weren't able to prove her part in my mother's death, but she has already found another mate, and forgotten all about my dad and their children. We did warn her new victim but our warnings fell on deaf ears.

Lately, I was shocked to discover that more evidence had come to light and more witnesses had come forward in my case against Mike.

Although I was present at the trial, I didn't want to be the one to have to tell my child one day that Mike was put to death, for what he did to me. Apparently, there were a lot of upset female pack members who wanted Mike to pay for what he had done, more evidence had come to light so they had been reevaluating his sentence and we're ultimately considering terminating his life.

So I asked the council to spare his life, he would no longer be a wolf without his canines, but it would be more punishment for realizing all the great things he could have done or done if he had just accepted me or simply rejected me.

That was enough for me, the only other thing I asked is that he would be put away somewhere, for people who had done similar things, so my child wouldn't be in danger, and neither would anyone else.

Some of the Rogues that were present, especially the child, were entirely innocent and were forced to follow Mike's orders so we did our best to rehabilitate them.

It turns out the child was not a rogue but an orphan after Mike killed his parents, the previous Luna AKA Rogue Queen and King. Turns out they weren't really rogues they were just traveling to a different state and relocating their pack, due to so many attacks on their borders, that killed many of their pack members. That's when they met Mike and met their demise.

CJ the once orphaned pup, is now thriving and very happy with us.

Sometimes he'll tell me old stories about his parents, they were good people who were just in a terrible situation.

Anyways...

It took me a long while before I was healed, the doctor had put me on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy so I was unable to be mated right away.

Which was so hard considering I was already marked, but tomorrow I would be going in to be induced, and I would finally have my pup.

A lot of time has gone by, I struggled with nightmares and so did CJ, but we're okay now.

I'm just looking forward to being a new mother, and I know Christian will be an amazing father.
