The chirping of birds rang in your ears breaking your peaceful sleep. You felt a hard surface on your left cheek causing you you furrow. You slowly opened your eyes and a sharp yet perfect jaw came in your view.

Your heart skyrocketed realising who the person is. Ofcourse, it wasn't like you were drunk and forgot what happened last night.

Your gaze fell on your right hand that was clutching his t-shirt in a tight fist. Whereas, his arm was wrapped around your waist. Despite being in a deep sleep, his hold was tight and secure.

You gulped down a lump of throat because of nervousness and uneven heartbeats. Mustering up all the courage, you averted your eyes to his profile that was sleeping peacefully.

Damn, he looks eternal while sleeping. But his calming face radiated warmth.

You saw his eyes flutter opening. You bite your lips but didn't move your gaze away from him. You felt his hand moving on your waist but he stopped when he realised something.

As he looked down, he found you staring at him with....affection?

His heart skipped a beat seeing you staring at him with so much affection yet he didn't fail to notice an emotion that was visible in his eyes. He wasn't able to comprehend what it was.

"How are you? Are you okay?" He asks completely ignoring the fact that you both are in each other's embrace. Nose almost touching, lips just a finger away and chest collided. For him, you're his priority.

"I..I'm fine." You shuttered realising the proximity. He let out a sigh and released his arm from your waist. You bite your lips and moved away from his embrace.

"I..I'll go and make breakfast." You said before walking down the bed. Despite missing his warmth, you let your legs lead towards your bathroom to get fresh.

You both were at the dinning table having breakfast together. None of you talked about that night which shook you up.

After that day, Instead of being awkward with each other, you started to get closer to him.

You though of giving a chance to this marriage. First, because of his caring and affectionate side towards you. He takes care of every little things about you. Second, what your sister did to him is not something that he deserves. Your sister did wrong to him and backstab him. Even spoke hurtful words. He didn't deserve the pain she gave him.

That's why, you want him to be happy. You want him to get the happiness that he truly deserves.

You shifted to his room and now you both share a room together. Taehyung was on cloud nine when you shifted to his room. Things were growing between you two like a normal couple.

Yet, there was missing a little skinships between you two but Taehyung knows you're comfortable in his touch and that's why he always finds you snuggled in his embrace in the morning and when you wake up realising it, you can't help but get flustered.

You both were sitting in the living room while working. There was something going on inside Taehyung's mind. He couldn't help but think about it all the time.

Today, he decided to confront you about something that has been running in his mind.

"Y/n." You averted your gaze from your file to him.

"Can we talk?" He softly asks. You nod your head and kept aside your file and faced him.

"Do you hate me?" He asks mustering up all his courage. Your heart dropped hearing him. Is this what he thinks about you?

"Hate?" You whisper. Taehyung looks down licking his lips.

"It's a strong word to use, Taehyung." His head shot up and looked at you. It's the first time you said his name. Even when he was married to your sister, you never called him with his name but today, you did.

A moment of silence fell in the room. You gulped down the lump of throat.

"D..do you hate me?" You asked the same question to him. You want to know, if he thinks that you hate him then does he have the same feelings for you?

Your face remained painfully still expect for the corners of your lips and the water brimming in your eyes that stuck to your lashes.

Taehyung noticed your wet eyes and scooted near you.

"Honey." Taehyung says, pulling you towards him. "Ofcourse, not." He softly says staring in your eyes. You bite your lips to suppress your tears. He takes your hand in his.

"I can't help but be insecure that you had to marry me because of our parents. You had to marry me against your will." He says holding your hand.

"I just..I want to give you everything you've ever wanted and deserve even..love." He says opening his heart and looking deep in your eyes.

"Why?" You couldn't help but ask.

"Because you've given me more than I ever thought I could have in one life." Your stomach churned hearing his words. Tear rolled down your cheek. He gently wiped your tears and started to caress your cheek.

"Really?" He nods causing you to smile.

"You love me?" You asked gulping down lump of throat. Taehyung chuckles and looks down at your interwine hand.

"What an understatement darling." He says looking back in your eyes while tracing your ring of his name.

"I love you so much that everyday and night, I thank the universe for bringing you in my life as my life partner, my better half." He confessed bringing your hand towards his mouth and tenderly kissed your ring.

"I've always been in love with you, honey. Without my own knowledge and permission, you stole my heart." He says. You sniffed and scooted more closer to him.

"I want you to be happy." You said while gazing at him with adoration.

"You're my happiness. There's no other way I can ever be happy." He instantly said bringing smile on your face with happy tears rolling down your cheeks.

"I don't want you to cry anymore for anything. I want to bring all the happiness of the universe, only for you." He says wiping off your tears.

"Taehyung.." You softly calls him. He humms looking at you lovingly.

"I love you."

Before he responds, you leaned down and attached your lips with his. Taehyung felt his heart stopped for a moment feeling your lips on his which weren't moving because dumb you don't even know how to kiss.

He wraps his arms around your waist, pulling you closer to him and making you sit on his lap, he travelled his hand to your nape tilting his head, he sucked your upper lip making your heart skyrocket.

"Stop me if you feel uncomfortable." He says before taking your lower lips between his soft lips. Your hands travelled to his shoulder and another on his hairs.

He was devouring you lips whereas you were trying to kiss him back by copying his movements. Taehyung smiled feeling you trying to kiss him back messily but he was loving it.

The love of his life is finally his. The kiss didn't last long because you couldn't hold back your breath. You tapped his shoulder and started to breath heavily. He thought that you were uncomfortable but seeing your chest going up and down, he realised that you were out of breath.

Taehyung leans down and attaches his forehead with yours. He rubbed your back to calm you down.

"I love you, honey." He confesses looking deep in your eyes with smile.

"I love you too, Tae." You confessed gazing in his eyes while caressing his cheek.

Again, he attaches his lips with yours and kissed you pouring all his love that he had and still have for you.
