Fall was turning into winter and Renesme continued to grow incredibly fast. The others were worried about her, I knew the answers were in Brazil, it was just a matter of finding them. Vampires and hybrids could very easily hide in the rain forest. Edward kept looking through the history of immortal children which wasn't helping at all. I came up beside him as he looked at a pick of a baby tearing its way through the womb, killing its mother.
I turned off the computer scene, "Go get some air, Edward." He didn't need to be looking at that. "Go hunt, be with your wife and daughter." I turned to Carlisle, "I need to get to Brazil, I can find them, I know I can."
"Fine, but take Jasper with you, and I'm coming as well," Carlisle replied. I nodded going to pack a small bag. Not being an average human I wouldn't need much. As we were getting on the plane Carlisle's phone rang. He answered and his face changed, something had happened. He turned to look at us. "Alice had a vision, the Voultri is coming for us. I need to help gather witnesses. Call any friends you have that will help, find that tribe. I'm sorry, but I have to go." Carlisle got off the plane.
I looked at Jasper, "Do you think we'll ever have a peacefully year with another coven messing things up for us?"
"I doubt it, comes with staying in one place."
"Well I guess we better find this other hybrid and ask him or her to witness for us," I said going up to the cockpit. "Ready to take off." After the flight, we land at the airport and found transport to get us as close as possible to the forest before we disappeared into it. We didn't know how long we'd be gone or how long it would take. I just let my senses take over, tracking, smelling out other vampires, I found other vampires, no hybrids, but all agreed to witness for us. We sent them to our house in Forks.
By the time I was on the right trail, I knew it would be snowing at home. I marked the trail again as I had been doing by scratching bark off of trees as high as I could reach. When I walked into their territory I was surprised to see Alice and Aiden already there talking to them.
